Welsch Homestead in New Braunfels

Escape the noise and confusion but not the convenience!
The Homestead is one mile away from the Guadalupe River, The Comal
River and Schlitterbahn water park. On two acres of beautiful oak
covered lawn in a quiet community just off of Gruene road. Perfect
for a family gathering spot as it will seat up to 25 people for
dinner. It will comfortably sleep 11 with an option for more. There
is even a screened sleeping porch ( a good memory maker for the
little one's).

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch where you will find a
wicker glider, loveseat and chairs. There is a very large kitchen with
everything you need, all appliances, microwave and toaster oven.
You will even find serving trays in case you want to serve breakfast
to someone in bed. There is a gas grill for your convenience or a
charcoal grill for the traditionalist. While you are grilling, the
litte ones will have two acres of play space that are covered by a
gracious canopy of towering oaks. You will not need to bring much
with you, the home is stocked with plenty of linens, paper goods,
books, games, movies and a full size washer and dryer. You will also
find a TV/VCR/DVD player in the living room, a TV in the
master bedroom and a stereo with speakers going to several rooms and
outdoors as well (pretty cool) !

Consider The Homestead if you are planning a river trip, a group
retreat or even a Thanksgiving or other holiday gathering. The
Homestead hostess is a wonderful chef, if you would like a catered
meal, please request a menu. One mile from the Guadalupe River, The
Comal River, The Historic Village of Gruene and Shlitterbahn Water
Park. A very short drive or a nice walk will get you to any of these
destinations. There are so many fun things to do in New Braunfels
and Gruene, Besides tubing or raftting, there is great shopping and
dining. There are several golf corses in the area as well as The
outlet malls in San Marcos. You are only 30 minutes from San Antonio
and the riverwalk or tower of Amaerica or 45 minutes from Austin

Rates are dependant on the number of people in your group.
There are price breaks for multiple nights or weekly rates.
There is a 2 night minimum and hotel tax will be charged to your
total. Our rates range from $400-$1800. Please give specific details
on your group and we will quote you a rate.
