chalet on Whaley Lake in Dutchess County, 
NY. Just 80 minutes drive from Midtown NYC.

Regardless of the time of year, the lake offers a tranquil 
setting to relax and unwind. Recline on the spacious 2nd 
story balcony, take to the water in the new 12' Kayaks, or 
enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fire and watch the 
snow fall.

The Lake house offers a very spacious vacation 
environment, ideal for families with children of all ages,  
a group of friends or a romantic getaway for two.

From the first hint of light in the morning to the colorful 
glows of the dusk sky, the exhilarating, elevated views of 
the pristine lake and its surroundings will impress.  
				
TRY THIS: A Working Vacation,
With your family spending the week at the Lake, it is a short 10 
minute drive from the Chalet to Metro North Railroad in Patterson. 
Take The Metro North directly to Grand Central Station departing at 
7:02am and arriving Grand Central at 8:27am. Return in the evening to 
your relaxed family, departing Grand Central Station 5:59pm, arrive 
Patterson 7:27pm. Then, after a working week, enjoy the weekend with 
your family at beautiful Whaley Lake.

3rd Floor:

The Master Bedroom is a highlight of the Chalet. This  large 
bedroom with private en suite and skylight offers a view that will 
take your breath away at sunrise, and make sleeping difficult 
until after dark.  Two additional double bedrooms and a large 
separate bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and three large sky-lights. 
  Hardwood floors throughout.

Main Level:

Beautiful stone fireplace with large wood burning stove, exposed 
hardwood beams throughout, full length windows from every 
angle looking out over the lake.  Spacious fully functional 
kitchen, large dining / living area leading out onto the very 
spacious balcony overlooking the lake.  The living room consists 
of all leather sleeper couch and loveseat, 32 inch television and 
DVD player and stereo/CD player.  The dining room seats eight 
and overlooks the lake.  One double bedroom, and large separate 
bathroom with spacious glass shower.  

1st floor:

Fully functional office, one bedroom with outdoor access, game 
room and separate laundry room with a new washer and dryer.  Each of 
the 1st floor rooms have pull-out day-beds.
Hardwood floors throughout.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Bedrooms: Tasteful bedroom decor throughout the 5 
bedrooms with all linen provided. TV/DVD in 3 bedrooms. The 
leather sofa in the living area also folds out, allowing the 
Chalet to comfortably accommodate 12 people. All rooms 
equipped with fans.

Bathrooms: All three bathrooms are spacious and newly 
renovated with Kohler fixtures, beautiful tumble stone and 
wainscoting.  The third floor bathroom contains a large Kohler 
 Jacuzzi spa.

Kitchen: Includes gas oven and 6-burner cook-top, 
dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, 
coffee maker, toaster, blender, spice rack and all cutlery, 
dishes, pots and pans.
Laundry: includes large, new washing machine and dryer.

Dining area: Dining setting seats up to 8 comfortably.

Living area: Living room furniture, includes very comfortable 
'chesterfield style' leather sleeper sofa and loveseat, beautiful 
stone fireplace with wood burning stove, wall unit with 
television, DVD/Video player, side tables, indoor plants, 
candles, decorations and wall hangings.

Laundry: includes large, new washing machine and dryer.

Balcony: Large gas BBQ grill, outdoor table and chairs.

Parking: Ample private, outdoor parking.

Grounds: Private driveway, large lawn areas and         
ornamental trees.

Lake: Lake views from virtually every room, and a                   
short 100 Yard walk down to the lake shore.

the lake is well known for its excellent Bass fishing. Many 
nearby attractions include Golf Courses, Golf Driving 
Range, Thunder Ridge Ski slope, hiking trails (including Cold Spring 
and Appalachian trail).

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates: ($USD)

$1950 per week year-round.   

$2600 per week for weeks which 
include a public holiday.   

Weekend Up to 8 People $1000 (Friday to Sunday)
for 9-14 people, add $100 for each person over 10 yrs of age.

Weekend which includes a public Holiday up to 8 people $1500 (Friday 
to Monday) for 9-14 people, add $100 for each person over 10 yrs of 
age.  

All rentals add 6% Lodging tax
