The Gingerbread Cottage provides its guests with a premium mountain
cottage experience only found in a restored historic property. Only
the craftsmen from the 1940's could create so much charm, from the
hand-made knotty pine doors to the original free-standing stone
fireplace which separates the living & dining rooms, you'll enjoy it
all. You can relax the day away by the fire or soak in your private
hot tub under the stars. Guests can ride bikes or walk in the quite
scenic neighborhood or take the five minute drive to Jump Off Rock
for the most breathtaking view for miles. We are pet friendly and we
now have free high-speed wireless internet!

The cottage is only 15 minutes from DuPont State Forest where you
will find 80 miles of trails for hiking, biking or equestrian
activities. And of course the highlight of the forest, the
waterfalls! With all of this outdoor activity available at your door
step, it's easy to forget that the cottage is only three minutes
from historic Main Street Hendersonville, where the antique & craft
shopping and dining is unparalleled.

The cottage has three bedrooms & a loft area: 2 bedrooms have a
queen bed, & one bedroom has two twins. The loft area has another
twin bed. Enough beds to comfortably sleep 7. There is a beautiful
tiled bath on the first floor with a shower/tub & another adorable
half bath upstairs. Hot tub.
