The Lodge On The Way in Lewistown

Our beautiful new lodge is located in Stanford, Montana in the heart
of Judith Basin. With four mountain ranges within one hours drive,
our lodge is your way to enjoying hunting, fishing, horseback
riding, rock-hounding, or best of all, just enjoying a truly
relaxing time on the eastern plains of the Rocky Mountains.

Handcrafted with local timber and rocks by a special builder with a
dream, our lodge is truly a reflection of the best of Montana. A
large fireplace adds ambience and warmth to your stay. Enjoy even
better views from the loft level bedrooms.

The Lodge on the Way is designed to accomodate hunting groups,
family vacations, small group conferences, or someone just looking
to get away from it all. Quiet places abound both within the lodge
and within driving distance.

The Lodge on the Way is a great place to enjoy a family gathering or
to just sit and drink in the beautiful mountain and prairie views.

We offer a beautiful, new 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home. Lower level
is handicap accessible. All linens, towels, and kitchen items are
provided. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, and refrigerator are
provided. Full gourmet breakfast provided. Refrigerator and
Cupboards are stocked with basic ammenties such as coffee, tea,
salt, pepper, oil, etc. The great room area offers a large screen
TV with satellite dish hook-up and many DVD's and videos to enjoy
during the Montana evenings. Our home is
decorated in a relaxed, western style motif that seemingly
says, "Put up your feet and stay awhile!"
suitable for people with children, hunting groups, and small
business or corporate groups.

Hunting, fishing, rock-hounding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow
skiing all within one hour. C.M. Russell Stampede in July, Christmas
Stroll in early December. Community Swimming Pool within walking
distance and open June-August. Stanford is also the location of
Lillegard Studio, and home of the
internationally acclaimed bronze sculpturist, Steve Lillegard. The
Judith Basin County Museum is an easy walk from your doorstep, as is
the downtown area of Stanford. Charlie
Russell and Lewis and Clark Country. 1 hour from Great Falls and 45
minutes from Lewistown.

Rates are $350-500 per week, depending on season and number of guests. A minimum 2
night stay is required. A full course gourmet breakfast is available
each morning and will serve 2-4 people generously.
