vacation rental description
This is a recently renovated cottage in the neighborhood of
Laurel Park, recently designated a National Historic District. A short walk to all that downtown Sarasota offers: restaurants, wine bars, shops, movies, the bayfront, the opera, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. And ten minutes' drive to Lido or Siesta beaches.
Terra cotta tile floors throughout and cottage-style beadboard give
a fresh and airy feel; the rattan ceiling fan and wood furnishings
contribute a touch of old Key West. A screened-in porch with wicker
armchairs adds to the relaxed atmosphere; pick your own tangerines in the yard.
A recent guest wrote: "The cottage is such a comfortable, cozy place to spend a vacation! We were there for two months last winter. It is perfectly situated, walkably close to everything the beautiful city of Sarasota has to offer in the historic, peaceful, downtown neighborhood of Laurel Park. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there! " Judy D, Massachusetts
