Casa Caracol 
    Imagine, if you will, walking along the lush ravine of the Rio 
Qualle on ancient cobblestone streets in the oldest historic 
district of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Literally stepping back in time it 
evokes the ghosts of old Hollywood glamour, Casa Caracol an 
extremely beautiful historically prominent, architecturally 
significant Casa in Gringo Gulch, one of the first private homes 
built in this area by legendary Mexican architect Freddy Romeres, 
4 houses away from the famed house of Elizabeth Taylor and 
Richard Burton. 

     This exceptional two bedroom, three bathroom, three story 
home lends itself perfectly as a private resort retreat for one or 
two couples. The house itself is built into the hillside of solid 
stone and boasts 270 degree views of the mountains, the 
hillside, the town of Vallarta, the bird sanctuary, the river, and 
then of course the ever beautiful Banderas Bay. Casa Caracol is 
one of the most beautiful private homes in Puerto Vallarta, It has 
been recently painstakingly restored to its original grandeur, 
originally built in 1948 in a unique sophisticated European style, 
with ocean blue tile floors and seven balconies in the main living 
space that add to the appeal of open air tropical breezes and 
endless breathtaking views. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

     The first floor has a totally separate and private Casita, with a 
queen size bed, vanity dressing area, bathroom and kitchenette 
en suite, air conditioning, ceiling fan, television and an out of 
doors sitting area. 

     The second floor with entrance courtyard and fountain leads 
to a full tiled kitchen and bar with modern appliances and 
travertine counter tops, ocean blue tile floors, master bedroom 
with balcony and bathroom, 1000 square feet of living space, 7 
balconies, open air sitting area, 2 dining spaces, sofas, built ins. 
fireplace, cathedral arches, air conditioning, ceiling fans and 
television. And of course daily maid service from our lovely 
housekeeper Maria, Casa Caracol also has a complete water 
purification system

     The third floor is the piece'de resistance enter from the 
courtyard up the staircase to 1000 square feet of private roof 
terrace, with a cocktail jacuzzi dipping pool, enormous lantern lit 
palappa with seating for 10, sunning area, cabana room, 
outdoor shower, bathroom, potted palms, dripping with 
bougainvillea, and of course once again, the breathtakingly 
spectacular 270 degree views. The perfect place for taking a dip, 
relaxing the day away, catching some sun, socializing with 
friends of viewing our magnificent sunsets while dancing under 
the stars and swaying palm trees amidst the balmy breezes of 
paradise.
