Vacation Rental Description

Experience the magic of Western North Carolina in a spectacular Smoky 
Mountain setting. Lakeside Cottage is nestled among old-growth spruce 
and white pine trees on the bank of Lake Glenville near Cashiers, 
North Carolina. Follow the winding wooden walkway to the waters edge 
and our private boat dock. Sip a steaming cup of coffee on the deck 
as the sun crests the mountains. Explore the lake by canoe or kayak 
in the tranquility of early morning. Tee-off at one of the nearby 
golf courses. Sunken great room with vaulted ceiling and wood-
burning stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen. Each bedroom has its 
own connecting bath.

Fireplace, telephone, air conditioning, satellite TVs, DVDs, CD 
players, fully equipped kitchen, granite countertops, stainless steel 
appliances, 2 ovens, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer 
with ice maker, washer/dryer, king and queen beds + 3 twins in bunk 
room, screened shade porch, hammock,  stainless steel gas BBQ grill, 
linens, private boat dock, kayaks, pedal boat, fishing poles and 
beach chairs.

Our mountain vacation rental home in Jackson County is convenient to 
many area activities and attractions: mountain golf courses in 
Cashiers, Highlands, Sapphire and Waynesville; antiques, boutiques, 
galleries and mountain crafts in the villages of Cashiers, Highlands 
and Sylva; a wide variety of restaurants offering everything from 
home cooking to fine dining regional cuisine; boating, fly-fishing, 
hiking trails, horse-back riding, mountain biking, waterfalls, and 
white-water rafting.
