This condo is a total rip-off.I sent the deposit and rental and the check was cashed immediately.When we arrived a TV and light were on in a bedroom and the condo had not been cleaned.The condo was filthy, cleaning people left a dirty rag in the kitchen sink and had not swept or cleaned anything.The carpet was disgusting big stains everywhere(I have pics).Owner was called at 10:50pm at arrival and wife had him call the next day(Sun)he said he would take care of it/have carpets cleaned on Mon,waited half of day and cleaners came and said they couldn't do job. Called owner again he said he would try to get someone else and let me know, he NEVER called me.Later another co called (2:00pm) and we had decided to leave and go to a CLEAN condo nearby because we didn't want to waste any more of our vacation sitting in a room waiting.I asked the owner to refund $ for dep and most of the rent and that gave him more than the usual amount for the two nights we stayed plus we cleaned the place. He waited over 2 wks and finally sent us about 1/2 of what I had asked for charging us over 1/2 of the total amount I pd for the whole time for 2 nights in his dirty condo!!He said he probably couldn't rent the condo because of the time frame, but we had just contacted him the week before and it wasn't booked yet when we contacted him.The chance of someone else renting would have been slim! He said he didn't rent the place much. He seemed very sincere and honest when I first contacted him, but I found out that wasn't true. This was a vacation for me, my deaf daughter who had just graduated from college, my mom and 2 aunts who recently lost their husbands(my dad).I had saved all year to be able to do this and then I had to come up with the extra $ because he wouldn't return my $. He shouldn't even be allowed to rent to people if this is how he is going to treat them. I don't think he would like his family being treated this way. I tried to work it out with him but he hasn't responded to my emails or calls. I plan to contact other officials in the DB area to file a complaint since it has been 2 months and he still hasn't sent any more money back. I even asked him to send it back in paymts if he couldn't send it all at once.He also had false advertising on site, showed things which weren't even at his condo, indoor pool, and said it was had a private entrance to no-drive beach, totally false!
