The Cozy Cattail is a 2 bedroom cozy cottage vacation rental located on the Oregon Coast just 4 miles NE of Reedsport. We're 5 miles inland from the Ocean where we get about 50% more summer sunshine than Winchester Bay, less wind than Florence and our temperature averages about 10 degrees cooler than the valley. The perfect place to stay!
Experience rural Oregon in a secluded coastal estuary and woodland setting.
"A Birdwatchers paradise" and "a Fishermans haven."
Nestle down in this comfortably renovated home completely refinished with
lots of Myrtlewood and Black Walnut by local craftsmen.
Bear Lane as shown on Google maps is a nonexistant overgrown footpath with no traffic.

This 2 bedroom homes comes furnished with 2 Queensize Beds, a
Futon and Twin Sofa Sleeper. Comforters, blankets, sheets, and
towels are supplied along with a washer and dryer.
The Wood Stove has firewood and kindling to set a cozy
atmosphere.
There's a VCR with a selection of movies for your enjoyment as
well as a Bose Wave Radio/CD. And a phone for incoming and credit
card calls.
The kitchen is completely redone with Myrtlewood Cabinets and is
fully supplied with stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, pans,
utensils, and dish soap. Just bring the groceries.
We've got a large covered porch with plenty of seating and a
charcoal grill available for your use.

On our property: 40 acres of woodlands and estuary. Hudson
Slough/Frarey's Creek is about 100 yds from The Cozy Cattail. You
can watch the tide come in from the front porch. We have a tidal
dock and a boat launch suitable for very small boats at high tide.
We provide a couple of small fishing poles suitable for catching
small fish.
