Smoky Sunrise in Maggie Valley

Smoky Sunrise is a beautiful and extremely comfortable
log home with vaulted ceilings, an entire wall of windows in the
great room, an expansive deck with covered area, hot tub, swing and
every imaginable ammenity.

Smoky Sunrise is immediately adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains
National Park. The elevation of the home is 4800 feet and it
overlooks the town of Maggie Valley, NC. On a clear day, you can see
all the way to Asheville. The views from Smoky Sunrise are superior
to those of any other home in the region. Just a short hike and you
will be in the park. Several nature photographers use Smoky Sunrise
as a home base.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware and condiments. The
deck has an excellent gas grill. A real stone fireplace with gas
logs lets you enjoy warm, romantic evenings in the great room.
The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king sized bed,
private master bath with jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and granite counters.
The second floor has a bedroom with a king sized bed and private
access to a bathroom shared with the sleeping loft that has a queen-
sized bed plus additional sleeping accomodations.
The great room has a queen-sized sleeper sofa. A third full bathroom
is on the first floor.
The deck has a six-person hot tub and a covered eating area. There
is a game room in the basement with a multi-function children's game table - fuse ball, soccer, paddle tennis, etc. High-speed internet with wireless access is included, so bring your laptop!

Visitors to Smoky Sunrise return year after year. It is a special
place that will enable you to relax and enjoy nature. The views are
stunning and you will not soon forget your visit.

NOTE: Smoky Sunrise is located 1 mile off Black Camp Gap Road in
Maggie Valley. This access road is not paved. Parts of this road are
steep and can be rough if there has been a lot of recent rain. The
road will not be muddy, so getting stuck will not be a problem. A 4-
wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended although during summer months, front-wheel drive is fine. CAUTION: Sedan-type vehicles are not recommended even if they are front-wheel drive. Ground clearance can be an issue on some sedans, especially when loaded with luggage.
