Smoky Sunrise is a beautiful and extremely comfortable log home with vaulted ceilings, an entire wall of windows in the great room, an expansive deck with covered area, hot tub, swing and every imaginable ammenity.
Smoky Sunrise is immediately adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The elevation of the home is 4800 feet and it overlooks the town of Maggie Valley, NC. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Asheville. The views from Smoky Sunrise are superior to those of any other home in the region. Just a short hike and you will be in the park. Several nature photographers use Smoky Sunrise as a home base.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware and condiments. The deck has an excellent gas grill. A real stone fireplace with remote-controlled gas logs lets you enjoy warm, romantic evenings in the great room.
The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king sized bed, private master bath with jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and granite counters.
The second floor has a bedroom with a king sized bed and private access to a bathroom shared with the sleeping loft that has a queen-sized bed plus additional sleeping accomodations for children.
A third full bathroom is on the main floor.
The deck has a six-person hot tub and a covered dining area. A game area in the basement includes a children's game table.
High-speed internet with wireless access is included, so bring your laptop!
