Pine Creek Cabin in Lake Lure

Pine Creek Cabin sits on 2.5 acres in the gated Stonecrest community just 4 minutes off the shores of Lake Lure.  It's peaceful and private setting provides serenity and relaxation.  You can enjoy a walk through the community to see beautiful views of the mountains, sit on the front porch and enjoy summer breezes or have an evening campfire.

The cabin has been carefully decorated to give you a feel of the perfect luxury fishing lodge.  Surrounded by many antiques, you feel as though you have taken a step back in time.  It boost of warmth, contentment AND PRIVACY. The porch wraps around two sides of the cabin. Pine Creek Cabin has two living areas, two baths, two bedrooms and laundry room. The kitchen has
everything needed to serve up your best family meal. All kitchen equipment is new.

Two bedrooms have queen beds.  Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.  The master bedroom located on the upper floor has a large bathroom with a separate shower and bath. 

The loft area has Satellite TV, DVDs, VHS, board games, card games, card table
and a sleeper sofa. 

The downstairs living area has a ceiling fan and pellet stove fireplace. The dining area has a large farm table for family gatherings.

Porch furniture (chairs, table and swing) and outside grill is
available.

The newly built log home is completely furnished and stocked with all
your needed household items. Linens, towels, iron, iron board, washer and dryer are available. (It is recommended that you bring extra towels with groups over four people).
The house is very clean with brand new fixtures in the bathrooms and in the kitchen.

An outside campfire area is complete with benches, fire circle and firewood. All you need is the marshmellows.

Once you leave the community, numerous activities are within minutes of this home. 

Overview: Hiking, Biking, Swimming, Water Sports, Golfing, Shopping, Lake Fishing, Fly fishing in the Rocky Board River, Boat Tours of Lake Lure, Nature Trails, Lake Lure Beach, Tennis, Picnic Areas, Chimney Rock Park, Waterfalls and horseback riding.

During the summer enjoy playing with your kids at the clean and
family friendly Lake Lure beach, find yourself a swimming hole at the
local river or enjoy hiking to the top of Chimney Rock where you can
see into the distance for miles. You can even take a horseback ride
at the local stables or go fly fishing on the Rocky Broad River.

During the fall enjoy a bright array of fall colored leaves, and
enjoy shopping in the cozy town of Chimney Rock. It is a beautiful
time of year in the mountains! The weather is great for hiking.

Winter at Pine Creek Cabin brings white snow, and cold- clear
mountain days. Also enjoy warming up next to a cozy fireplace. If
romance is what you are looking for take a short ride to the Biltmore
and enjoy their Christmas celebrations and winery.

The location is perfect; you are just a short drive away from
Asheville, Hendersonville, Black Mountain. You are within minutes of
Lake Lure beach and golf course, and Chimney Rock State Park! You are also not too far from the Tennessee border where you can enjoy white water rafting, tubing, and hiking.
Larkin's On the Lake Restaurant is within minutes of the cabin along
with a grocery store and gas.

Off Season: Jan 3 2009-Apr 30 '09; Rates weekly = $720; weekend =
$250; weekend per night = $125; midweek per night = $125; one night
minimum stay.

Peak: May 1 2009-Nov 1 '09; Rates weekly = $840; weekend = $290;
weekend per night = $150; midweek = $150; extra night = $135; three
night minimum for week days only, two night minimum for weekends.

Winder Holidays: Nov 21 2009-Jan 3 2010; Rates weekly = $780; weekend
= $260; weekend per night = $130; midweek per night = $130; extra
night = $120. Covers Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years weeks.
Three night minimum for all holiday weeks.

Cleaning fee of $75 will be charged for stays over 4 nights.
Taxes: 5% for Rutherfordton County Occupancy Tax and 6.75% for NC
state tax.
