Windy Oaks--Near Convention Center in Gatlinburg

Come and relax in our conveniently located 2 bedroom 2 bath condo.
Freshly painted and and newly furnished, ready for you to enjoy the
fully equipped unit where all appliances, including washer and dryer
are provided to make your stay comfortable. All linens, towels,
cookware are provided.
Our condo is decorated in a cheerful country decor to make you
feel right at home. Both bedrooms have queen size beds with new
bedding. The master bedroom has an attached full bath, with
brightly lighted vanity area and a 19" T.V. with cable. You'll find
a queen size sleeper sofa, a new rocker recliner, a glider rocker, a
32" TV with cable, and a log burning fireplace in the living room.
The dining room has a new country style table and 4 chairs.
The balcony, which awards an awesome view of the Smoky
mountains, has a table and chairs where you can enjoy your morning
coffee while taking in the scenery.
And you can't beat the location! Just a short walk to the
convention center on Airport Road or the downtown tourist section
and you're on your way to a fun filled stay. If you prefer not to
walk, you can take the trolley --- a real bargain at 50 cents.

Windy Oaks has a heated swimming pool which is in view from our
balcony. There is ample parking just outside the condo as
well as a lower level covered parking area. The location is great;
just a 10 minute walk to town, or the trolley can be boarded on the
corner. (Can you believe the trolley ride is only 50 cents?) This
alternative is a real plus due to the limited parking in downtown
Gatlinburg. The ski area is also conveniently located about 2 miles
from the condo.

The Great Smoky Mountains draw more visitors than any other national
park in the United States. The allure is simple: Mother Nature at
her
finest! The Smokies are a playground for anyone looking to spend
some
time outdoors. The best way to see the Great Smokies is to abandon
the car and get out in them.
Just outside the northern entrance to the park is the shopping
haven of Gatlinburg. Even though it is a small mountain town,
Gatlinburg has over 200 shops selling everything from mountain
crafts
to stylized weaponry. Leather shops abound. One of the best ways to
see Gatlinburg is by taking a ride up the mountain on the Gatlinburg
Aerial Tramway. Year-round, the tram whisks visitors to the Ober
Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park. The ski resort has 7 trails
from beginner slopes to difficult. Skiers and snowboarder have ample
slopes to fill the bill. All Ski equipment is available for rental.
There is also a very large indoor ice skating rink, a small mall
with video arcade, various dining establishments and unique gift
shops. In the summer, the resort has hiking, bicycling trails and
a water park.
Pigeon Forge, located five miles north of Gatlinburg, has been
a
tourist attraction for years. There are several outlet malls
to "shop till you drop" and famous "Dollywood", which is one of the
fastest
growing amusement parks in the country, with over 40 life musical
performances daily and 30 rides, all set in a "down home" theme.
Pigeon Forge is a family oriented meca with an array of
amusement
rides for the children and many special events throughout the
summer.
Sevierville, located at the end of Pigeon Forge, is host to
music show theaters, resturants, helicoptor rides and county
hospitality.
