famed heart of hilly Los Angeles. Touted as Greenwich Village of the west. Quaint
bohemian and quiet retreat setting serviced by on-premises family of three
including Sheba, our friendly German Shepard who loves people. (She can of course be
fenced out.) Five minutes to Los Angeles' historical downtown,
museums, Dodger Stadium; 10 mins. to Staples Center; Hollywood; 20
mins. to Disneyland; 10 minutes to Glendale/Pasadena/Eagle Rock; 35
mins. to beach; 5 minutes to Union Station for access to
red/blue/gold metro lines. Walk to cafes, restaurants, bakeries and
enjoy the renowned music scene. Walk to Spaceland down evocative
hillside stairways.
Owners have decades of local experience and historical knowledge.
Local Silver Lake reservoir has park, running path and hikeable
hills. Very close to Griffith Park/equestrian trails/tennis/hiking.
Recently remodeled bathroom and mosaic shower. French door and
windows look onto peaceful terraced garden with fish pond and
fountain. Kitchenette with stove, sink, microwave, toaster oven, electric skillet, stew pot, coffee
maker, fridge, fully stocked with dishes and utensils, gas grill on
patio as well as easy access to washer dryer.
Queen-sized posturpedic comfortable loft-style bed (raised) with fine bedding in cozy
alcove; old fashioned white bead board ceiling and small bank of
mini windows in bedroom area. Stepped levels total over 300 square
feet. Apartment/Cottage is off main home's back bottom patio completely private, separate and safe in the downstairs, completely unnoticeable from street.
Romantic getaway and great writers retreat too.
Street parking but never a problem finding a space.
FREE WIFI (DSL) & cable tv with dvd player. Complimentary bottle of
wine and cigar (if you want)!

$79-110$ per night for two days mininum: discounts for longer stays and prices include cleaning fees (washer/dryer privileges, wine, flowers).
Most comfortable for 2 adults in queen size bed BUT
additional deluxe Aero pillow-top mattress and bedding provided nicely sleeps adult/child for party of 3-4. An extra Aero mattress can be brought in as well. Please
inquire.

Usually, full stay rate is required in advance via cashiers check from a U.S. bank (made out to Darrell & Bev Costa) or via PayPal (see below).

Half deposits will be entertained for longer stays. Thirty day minimum cancellation needed for half deposit refund. We will be as fair as possible, given the amount of inquiries for the specified time and turned-away business.
