lies only a stone’s throw from the island’s capital of Fira,

This Santorini home has been built into the rock, exemplifying the
traditional architecture reminiscent of the Greek houses of
yesteryear. The original structure is reputed to be 600-800 years old. It boasts three levels of
patios with choice of sun or shade, a rare find in a
Santorini vacation rental, providing ample space for each guest to
enjoy their time, whether taking in the sun, dining, or just sipping
wine.
The villa has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master has a
large en suite with an additional living area which could be used for
additional sleeping
accomodation if necessary. The second bedroom is actually a domed
separate unit in itself, situated on the upper terrace with a
traditional style built in bed and its own balcony and small
bathroom.
Few Greek villas are constructed with domed cathedral ceilings, a
feature found in the large living room and third bedroom. The
charming kitchen is totally equipped for you to feel at home,
and once again, views from its windows to the sea below.

• Comment Text: I stayed at Villa Santorini in May with my two girlfriends and we had an unforgettable vacation. We were a little reluctant since we had not rented from VRBO in the past, but it exceeded our expectations. The Villa is beautiful, the view is breathtaking and situated in an ideal location(imerovigli) which is outside of the hustle and bustle of Fira but close enough to walk (a long stroll but well worth it). I consider myself to have high standards, since I stay in 5 star hotels quite often for int'l business travel, and this accomodation surpassed my expectations and I, personally, think the villa is much more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The house is beautiful, the decor is modern but also holding to the traditional santorini style villa, the amenenties are great - eg beautiful kitchen, fresh robes, maid service, the concierge, great hairdryer and flat iron, surround sound stereo with CDs, a book filled with restaurant recommendations and local attractions, and a great cooling tub (jacuzzi size outside looking over the caldera) etc...The family that owns this house takes great pride and care in their home and are wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this Villa to anyone visiting Santorini. I look forward to going back.

• Magical. There are so many words to describe our experience but magical is the one that describes it the best. The magic began when the manager escorted us to the property. WOW! It is absolutely amazing. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The property has been renovated and decorated extremely well. You can tell the owners put a lot of time, effort, and money into this house. I was very hesitant booking a house through the internet, through people I did not know. This was the best decision I have ever made. The owners were so helpful even before I committed to rent the house. When we arrived, the manager sat with us for about 30 minutes recommending where to go and what to see. The manager was always available, and the owners were accessible via e-mail. The location was fantastic. The town is about a 30-40 minute (beautiful) walk to Fira (away from the busy streets and tourist) and about a 20 drive to Oia. If you are staying in Santorini for more than a week I would highly recommend renting this house...you will have privacy, views, space, and will not be disappointed!

• I knew the villa looked beautiful from the website but my daughter summed it up best on arrival when she said, "This is so much better than I thought it was going to be." From then on we had the best time. It was liked living in paradise for a week. The villa was beautiful and comfortable. Vanda was incredibly helpful and the people of Santorini are warm and friendly. We all thought the villa was in the perfect location, near enough to easily get to anything, food, rentals, restaurants, yet far enough away so you didn't feel like you were in the middle of town. I highly recommend Villa Santorini. When we were leaving I thought I should have stayed another week!

The exquisite village of Imerovigli hosts some of the island's most
exclusive  restaurants, a few shops, mini
markets and a car rental agency. To explore the goings on in Fira,
this island's center is only a short walk away on a lovely cliffside
footpath. Scattered along its narrow cobbled streets, you will find
charming shops, a great variety of restaurants and tavernas, and a
bustling yet upscale nightlife. In Fira's early morning hours local
fishermen come to the square with their morning's catches. Might we
suggest picking up the island's local fish to barbeque and enjoy on
the patio back at home with a bottle of the very impressive white
wines from one of the island's wineries?
For those who want to fill their days with activities, the island is
full of things to do including visiting the archealogical sights,
cultural museums, ancient Byzantine churches, charming wineries and
discovering it's many traditional villages. For the adventurous, many
water sports are offered including snorkelling and diving as well as
sailing. Take a ride on a donkey to the old port where you can go on
an excursion to the volcano and swim in the hot springs.
Alternatively, spend your days basking in the warm mediterranean sun
and swimming in the glorious sea at one of the island's many
beaches.
Santorini casts a magic spell on each of its visitors, whatever their
