Why stay in a small cramped  hotel room when you can stay in a large 3 bedroom home with lots of  
amenities? 
 
Thank you for your interest in renting a home in San Francisco. I am sure you would have a much  
happier time renting a home instead of staying in a small hotel room. Most guests find they save a  
lot of money by staying in a home:  
 
Don't pay for parking ($60 per day) 
Don't pay for internet ($20 per day) 
Save a lot of money on eating out ($100 per day) It is nice to have your own breakfast and lunch at  
home, but be sure to experience the great restaurants that are located within walking distance. 
 
But it is not all about saving money. The fancy hotels in San Francisco are located in downtown San  
Francisco, Union Square and Moscone Center. Although this is nice during the day for shopping and  
walking around, these neighborhoods are not nice during the evening so that means you are stuck in  
your small hotel room.  
 
The Neighborhood 
Potrero Hill is a famous residental neighborhood in San Francisco. It is very close to downtown and  
the famous sites of San Francisco like Moscone Center, Museum of Modern Art, Pier 39, Fisherman's  
Wharf, Union Square. There is a large grocery store, Safeway, located on 16th Street and Potrero  
(about 6 blocks away) that is open 24 hours. This shopping center also has: Ross, US Post Office,  
Wells Fargo Bank, Jamba Juice, Togo's Sandwiches, Peet's Coffee, Radio Shack, Office Depot, Noah's  
Bagels, Starbucks, and other restaurants and stores.   
 
About 4 blocks away from the home are some very famous San Francisco restaurants located at 18th  
Street & Connecticut: Goat Hill Pizza, Eliza's, Chez Mama, Aperto, Baraka, Lingba Lounge, Thanya &  
Salee,  and many others. A new sushi restaurant called LIVE which is getting rave reviews opened  
recently about 3 blocks away. Whole Foods Market recently opened their largest store in San  
Francisco. It is located only 2-3 blocks away. Also there is a Starbucks located 4 blocks away.   
There is a nice playground for children two blocks up Vermont Street with beautiful views.

When is payment due? 
Payment is due two months before your arrival (3 months prior for holidays) 
 
How do I make a reservation? 
Please visit our main website to check availability: sfhomerental. com If the home is available,  
there is a reservaiont form on the website.  
 
Cancellation policy 
 
Payment is due two months before your arrival date. You can cancel giving one months notice or more  
and receive a full refund. After one month there is no refund. 
 
Is there a security deposit?  
No. Previously, I would request a security deposit of $1000 from all guests. However in the past few  
years I have only had a few incidents where guests caused a lot of damage. So I do not have a  
security deposit but I trust that my guests will treat the homes with respect.  
 
When is my reservation confirmed 
Your reservation is not confirmed until I receive your rental agreement and payment. It is possible  
that I email you back to let you know that the house is available and the next day it could get  
booked by another guest. That is why after you receive the rental agreement, I recommend sending it  
back soon to secure your reservation. These homes are very famous and very popular and I sell out  
quickly. 
 
What form of payments are accepted? 
I accept checks, bank cards, credit cards or wire transfers.  
 
Check in and check out times 
Check in: 3 pm, Check out: 11 am 
 
Limit for number of people 
The limit for for number of people allowed in the home is 6 adults – day or night. These homes cannot  
be used for large gatherings or parties. If this number is exceeded your group could be evicted and  
fined.  
 
Keys 
About one week before your arrival date, I will email you the combination to enter the home. These  
combinations are changed after each guest.
