Vacation Rental Description
This one bedroom/two bathroom condo is on the ground level right
next to the large swimmimg pool. From the dining room window you look out
over the Sea of Cortez two blocks away. You can walk to the beach
and watch the sun rise over the Sea of Cortez after watching it set over
the Sea the night before! This property is walking distance to
several major night spots (Manny's - Pink Cadilac) and good
reasonably priced restaurants. Air conditioning and ceiling fans make this a comfortable
and inexpensive way to enjoy Rocky Point!
Vacation Rental Amenities
Our unit has a large bedroom with a king size bed, television, and an adjoining bathroom and a large
living/dining room with an adjoining bathroom. The living room has a futon which
folds out to a double bed and a television. The kitchenette has a
small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and
dual hot plate. There is cookware and dishware suitable for light
cooking. There is also an outdoor grill area. NOTE: at this time there is limited TV service -
guests may want to bring a DVD player to watch DVD's in the room.

Rocky Point, as well as all of the help, newspapers, tips, etc. We
had a great time while in Mexico and are ready to go back - the
sooner the better! Rocky Point was not what I imagined - bigger and
better! we went on sunset cruises (twice), parasailed, ultralight
flights, banana boat rides, rented ATV's and rode them on Sandy
Beach and in the dunes, and ate and drank a lot! It was awesome!

Activities and Attractions
Throughout Rocky Point there are a variety of water sports, boating,
fishing, etc. available. There are many nice reasonably priced
restaurants offering a variety of cuisines - mexican,
steaks,traditional american seafood, italian, southwest tex/mex,
etc.
There is lots of good shopping as well.
Vacation Rental Rates
Room rate is currently only $80 a night because the property (not our condo unit) is undergoing
renovation and services and amenities are limited. NO taxes, damage deposit,
cleaning fee, or booking fee (many Rocky Point properties have these
charges which can raise costs significantly from "advertised rates."
$100 reservation hold deposit required and is credited to the total
rental charge.
NOTE: Fiesta de Cortez is undergoing substantial renovation at this
time. Rentals are not available to the general public EXCEPT through
individuals who own specific units (ME!). Housekeeping services are not available at this time -
renters must bring their own towels/bedding linens and must leave the unit clean when they leave.
There is a bilingual staff person on duty seven days a week from 9-5 who can arrange for any
necessary maintenance. The swimming pool is being maintained and is available for guests.
