Perched on a forested mountainside 150 ft. above the sea, this exposed 
beam A-Frame cedar chalet with its custom millwork, glowing wood 
stove, outside hot tub, and indoor ocean view Jacuzzi, makes for a one 
of a kind experience. 
 
If privacy and solitude is what you desire and deserve, the pounding 
Pacific Ocean and lush National Forest is all that can be seen and 
heard. The forest and ocean can be viewed from all rooms in the home. 
 
Located right across from Sitka's "Whale Park", the Alaskan Pacific 
Chalet has a trail that goes down to the park, along with several 
other hiking trails through the forest. All of these trails can be 
accessed from the front door of the home. 
 
Whale Park offers a wonderful view of Silver Bay, where you can often 
watch sea otter, seals and whales as they frolic and play.. Countless 
other trails and lakes are minutes away, including; Blue Lake-great 
for trout fishing, Thimbleberry Lake and waterfall, Tongass National 
Forest, Totem Park and more! All just a few minutes from The Alaska 
Pacific Chalet..
