San Miguel de Allende is a captivating place to visit and Casa Del
Alma epitomizes the "San Miguel" experience. At Casa del Alma, the
luminous colors of Mexico are woven into an exquisite tapestry of
living art in a marriage of historic city and modern luxury.
Casa del Alma is conveniently located in Colonia San Antonio, a quiet
neighborhood in San Miguel de Allende. We are about 10 - 15 minutes EZ
walking to Centro, El Mercado, El Instituto and El Jardin.

Enjoy lazy afternoons on the tree-shaded patio by the handcrafted
fountain, picturesque sunsets from the spacious upper Terrazza and
cozy evenings by the uniquely tiled fireplaces. Casa del Alma is a
sensory delight of art and color interacting in simple elegance.
This peaceful and joyous 2 story home is expansive with a tremendous
sense of openness yet still remains private. The house centers around
the Fountain and Patio and all rooms open to this peaceful garden
haven. The roomy kitchen is well equipped with a convenient "pass-
through" to the patio for entertaining. The living room and dining
room both feature hand-tiled mosaic fireplaces and, as everywhere
else in the house, hand-crafted art and furniture are designed to
pleasure the senses.

Casa del Alma essentially contains 2 Master Bedrooms. The ample
downstairs Fountain Room opens onto the garden and is adorned with a
hand-wrought iron bed-frame (new Queen sized mattress) and an
exquisitely tiled bath. The Tree House Suite is entered via the tiled
stairway through the den. The den/family room contains the TV, DVD, a
hammered tin fireplace, and the extra Sofa (Queen sized) bed for kids
or third couple.

From the Den, continue across the hall/office area to the Master
bedroom. The new pillow-top Queen sized bed has an elegant hand-
crafted sculptured tin headboard. The Master also has a Boveda
(arched brick) ceiling with a sky light where you can actually see
the stars from your bed. You will awaken to birdsong emanating from
the tree & the ever-present Church bells outside your window and
revel in the profusion of light and colors from sky and rooftops. The
adjacent bath boasts a tub, separate shower and Bidet.
From the moment you open the front door, your eye will be drawn by
the plethora of colors and your spirit will lift with the sense of
balance and harmony that this truly delightful casa embraces.

San Miguel offers a quality of life and warmth that is missing in my
California life. I prefer the pace of San Miguel, I like myself when
I am there. Whether walking to dinner, shopping, or attending some
cultural event there is always a sense that this a better life down
