Vacation Rental Description

Avondale Ridge, great for small groups and families to share, just
minutes to downtown Asheville; incredible 180 degree, and long range
mountain views, bordering the Blue Ridge Parkway.  This wonderful home
with a cabin feel has plenty of room to spread out... 6 bedrooms & 3
full baths, steam shower, jacuzzi tub in the Master bath; three levels
of abundant decking to enjoy the outdoors & take in the stunning views
- and a Sauna!!  

The main level has two Bedrooms,each with a Queen Bed (up to 4
guests).  The upstairs level has a King Master Bedroom with a large
bath with jetted tub & steam shower, both adjoining a spacious &
second family/game room (with incredible views & additional decking)
The family room has a Queen sleeper sofa & roll-away twin for extra
guests and there is also a wonderful little "bunk" room for two guests
on this level (7 guests).  A lower level also opens up to decking. 
Two bedrooms, each with a Queen Bed & single Twin bed, share a third
full bathroom (6 guests).  A Utility room with Washer/Dryer & extra
refrigerator is also on this lower level.  Two bedrooms and a bathroom
are on each level, dividing the space & amenities up nicely.  All
linens & towels are supplied.

A wonderful full amenity kitchen opens to the large dining/living room
space as well as the enclosed & tiled side porch (with wood stove).
Large windows to take in the stunning views, abundant decking, rock
fireplace all add to the cabin feel & ambience of this wonderful,
spacious and open living area.

with dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, x-large fridge,
Washer/Dryer,Cable TV, high speed internet access, phone (unlimited
local and long distance in the US & Canada - Vonage phone system),
linens & towels provided, enough paper goods & cleaners to get you
started, hardwood floors & tile throughout, fireplace in main
living/dining room, wood stove on tiled winterized porch (ample wood
provided - although you might want to bring your own starter logs). 
Views, Views, Views!  Easy access to Chimney Rock Park & just minutes
to Downtown Asheville, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate,
shopping, dining & more!!

Two bedrooms and a full bath on each of 3 levels (6 BR 3 BA ttl), for
added family & group privacy, 3 levels of decks & porches, 2 large
Family rooms, each with Cable TV, ample level parking, Sauna off lower
level deck, jetted tub & steam shower in upper level master bath, Rock
Fireplace in main living area (wood supplied), dining area & large eat
in kitchen. Washer/Dryer Utility Room on lower level.

Activities and Attractions

Location, location! Views, Views, Views! All with privacy, stunning
views & convenience. Avondale Ridge borders the Blue Ridge Parkway
(BRP) and is conveniently accessed - just 1.5 miles off NC Hwy 74 - at
the confleuence of I-40, I-240 and ramp access to the BRP - extremely
convenient to downtown Asheville (just outside the city limits & about
5 miles to downtown - views of the south side of city from the
decks),the Biltmore Estate (next exit west off I-40 - maybe 10 minutes
away), & Chimney Rock Park (Chimney Rock Park is about 21 miles south
on Hwy 74).  Downtown has wonderful, eclectic (non-chain)dining &
shopping.  What a great town to walk & explore (we recommend the
downtown 'Urban Trail').  Grocery shopping is located within five
minutes of the house on Hwy 74 along with additional shopping &
dining.  Asheville is great for Antiquing, Arts & Craft 
shopping, dining, hiking, biking, golfing,and all the Southern
Appalachian & Western NC Mountains have to offer.  Call for suggestions!

Vacation Rental Rates

Standard Rates are $425 nightly and $2415 weekly & apply to the
following dates:
Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, 5 night minimum stay req.
First weekend in October through first weekend in November, 4 night
minimum stay req.
Winter Holiday Weeks - Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years weeks, 7
night minimum stay req.

"In-between" Rates are $385 nightly and $2100 weekly & apply to the
following dates:
January through May, September, November & December (except as noted
above), 3 night minimum stay req.

Add 6.75% taxes to all totals, $250 refundable security deposit
required with check, or credit card held on file in lieu of actual
security deposit; acceptance of our Rental Agreement/Policies required
(see Rental Agreement on our website (VacationInAsheville) for
details.  Minimum stay requirements may be waived on short notice of
check-in date based on availability, so feel free to ask.

Pets are allowed, $15 per pet per night,
maximum fee of $75 per pet per stay.
