Avondale Ridge, great for small groups and families to share, just
minutes to downtown Asheville; incredible 180 degree, and long range
mountain views, bordering the Blue Ridge Parkway. This wonderful home
with a cabin feel has plenty of room to spread out... 6 bedrooms & 3
full baths, steam shower, spa tub in the Master bath; three levels
of abundant decking to enjoy the outdoors & take in the stunning views
- and a Sauna!!
The main level has two Bedrooms,each with a Queen Bed (up to 4
guests). The upstairs level has a King Master Bedroom with a large
bath with jetted tub & steam shower, both adjoining a spacious &
second family/game room (with incredible views & additional decking)
The family room has a Queen sleeper sofa & roll-away twins are
available upon request for extra guests. There is also a fun little
"bunk" room w xlarge built in bunk bed for two another two guests on
this level (bedding for up to 8 guests).
A third & lower level also opens up to decking. Two bedrooms, each
with a Queen Bed & single Twin bed, share a third full bathroom
(bedding on this level for up to 6 guests). A Utility room with
Washer/Dryer & extra refrigerator is also on the lower level.
Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on each level, dividing the space &
amenities up nicely. All linens & towels are supplied.
An awesome full amenity kitchen opens to the large dining/living room
space as well as the enclosed & tiled side porch (with wood stove).
Large windows to take in the stunning views, abundant decking, rock
fireplace all add to the cabin feel & ambience of this wonderful,
spacious and open living area.

Location, location! Views, Views, Views! All with privacy, stunning
views & convenience. Avondale Ridge borders the Blue Ridge Parkway
(BRP) and is conveniently accessed - just 1.5 miles off NC Hwy 74 - at
the confluence of I-40, I-240 and ramp access to the BRP - extremely
convenient to downtown Asheville (just outside the city limits & about
5 miles to downtown - views of the south side of city from the
decks),the Biltmore Estate (next exit west off I-40 - maybe 10 minutes
away), & Chimney Rock Park (Chimney Rock Park is about 21 miles south
on Hwy 74).
Downtown Asheville has wonderful, eclectic (non-chain)dining &
shopping. What a great town to walk & explore (we recommend the
downtown 'Urban Trail'). Try the Historic Trolley Tour to get
oriented to the delightful history and architechture of the downtown
area. Grocery shopping is located within five minutes of the house on
Hwy 74 along with additional shopping & dining. Asheville is great
for Antiquing, Arts & Craft shopping, dining, hiking, biking,
golfing,and all the Southern Appalachian & Western NC Mountains have
to offer. Call for suggestions!
vacation rental rates
Rates vary depending on Season & # of nights staying. The more nights you stay, the lower the nightly rate, the more week days you stay, the more you save! Minimum stay requirements apply:
Low Season: 1st Sunday in January after NYD through first Thursday in April, 2 night min stay.
Mid Season: April through Friday in May before Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, November through mid December, excepting Thanksgiving Week. 3 night min stay required
High Seasons: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Holiday Weeks - 5 night minimum stay required.
Leaf season (1st Friday in October through till first Sunday in November) - 4 night minimum stay required.
Short stays may be available on short notice (w/in 30 days), where there are "pinch nights" and on weekday nights, with a $50 surcharge added to totals.
Add 10.75% taxes to all totals, except monthly stays when no tax is required.
Pets OK, add $10/night/pet, or $50 /pet/stay, whichever is less (non-refundable
privilege fee). Must agree to pet agreement:
No pets on furniture, clean pet-waste out of yard, crate unattended pets indoors. The pet fee is a privilege fee not a damage deposit. Should your pet cause any additional damages, violate the pet agreement or be the cause excessive cleaning, additional fees will be charged in excess of the privilege fee.
