New for 2008: Cottage is now fully air conditioned and a new bath has
been installed!!!
The cottage is log sided with a knotty pine interior throughout. It
comfortably sleeps four. We provide blankets and pillows; guests are
requested to bring sheets and towels. It is very clean and
delightfully decorated. Heat is available for occasional chilly
evenings and fall and spring cool weather. During the occasional
summer heat, the cottage now has full air conditioning.
The bedroom includes two twin beds, two dressers, a large closet
with sliding doors and a ceiling fan. Both beds have high quality
mattresses. All windows are Andersen casements and are easily opened
and provide a forest view.
The kitchen is very well equipped and provides you with the
opportunity to eat "in." Toaster, drip coffee pot, dishes,
glassware, and utensils are all provided. An outside barbecue grill
is available. Bolton Landing also has many fine restaurants if you
wish to dine out.

The living room-dining area has a table for four, a double size
futon,a Lazy Boy chair, a TV and VCR, ceiling fan and storage
cabinets. The living room and bedroom can be separated at night with
a sliding wall. Both rooms have private access to the bathroom
through the front hall.
Parking is available for up to two cars.
Activities Available in the Area:
Bolton Landing has many recreational opportunities available. The
village has two large beaches with picnic and playground areas.
Swimming, fishing, water skiing, and boating are some of the many
activities that can be enjoyed in the crystal clear waters of Lake
George. There are several public and private docking sights
available in the area. The surrounding Adirondack Mountains provide
trails for hikers of all abilities. Daily, the Lake George Steamboat
Company's Mohigan, picks up passengers in Bolton Landing for a three-
hour cruise of the lake. The special summer activities include the
Bolton Antique Show, the Annual Fireworks Display, arts and crafts
shows,and evening concerts at Rogers Park. There are many delightful
shops, which stress quality rather than typical tourist souvenirs.
The village is also home of the Sagamore Resort and Golf Course on
Green Island, the Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center, The
Bolton Historical Museum, and The Marcella Sembrich Opera Museum.
Other sights are easily accessed by Route 9N or the Adirondack
Northway:
To the south, within an easy driving distance, you will find Lake
George Village, Fort William Henry, The Great Escape-Splashwater
Kingdom, Saratoga Race Course, National Museum of Dance, Saratoga
Equine Sports Center, Saratoga National Historical Park, National
Museum of Racing, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), The Magic
Forest, Waterslide World and the cruise ships Lac Du Saint
Sacrement, Minne-Ha-Ha Paddle Wheeler and the Horicon.
To the north, about one to two hours away, you will find Lake
Placid, Santa's Workshop at the North Pole, The Adirondack Museum at
Blue Mountain Lake, The Adirondack Great Camps, Old Forge, and Fort
Ticonderoga. The Adirondack Area offers many opportunities for
fishing, hiking, sailing and para-sailing.
2008 Rental Rates:
$825 per week for up to four persons during season:
Americade week [(6/2-6/7) Rental available from Saturday 5/31 to
Saturday June 7] and Saturday, June 28 to September 1]
$775 per week shoulder season May/June before June 28th and
September/October after September 1.
Note: Cottage is available weekly from Saturday to Saturday; shorter
periods at full weekly rate.
