Vacation Rental Description

  Relax and enjoy your vacation at Wrightsville Beach! Wrightsville 
Beach is a great family beach, located 5 miles from Wilmington, NC 
just off of I-40. Wrightsville Beach is famous for its beautiful 
wide sandy beaches, cool blue water, and family atmosphere. 
  We are just 4 houses back from the beach!  The Lennon cottage was 
built by our grandfather in 1947.  It is centrally located and within
walking distance to many of the island's fine restaurants and local 
shops and rentals for kayaks, bikes and roller blades, 
sailing and scuba diving. Excellent golf courses and charters for 
Gulf stream fishing are nearby.  
  Upper cottage: Ocean view from wrap-around porch. 3 bedrooms, 1 
bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room. Bedroom #1 Queen and 
one twin, BR#2 double, BR#3 double.
 
  Lower cottage: Wrap-around porch. 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, 
family room. Bedroom #1 Queen, BR#2 Double, BR#3 double.

  Convenient off-street parking, 2 spaces per cottage.  
Please, NO smoking and NO pets.

Vacation Rental Amenities

  Fully furnished with well supplied kitchen. Vacationers only need 
to bring their bed and bath linens.  Central air conditioning and 
heat. Convenient outside "after swim" shower house with hot and cold 
water, shared washer/dryer with additional sink and toilet in utility
room via the downstairs back porch,telephone(for local calls
only),dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven,
coffee-maker,dishes/utensils/pots & pans provided, cable TV, DVD,
rocking chairs on wrap-around front porches. Free on-site parking for
maximum 2 cars per cottage. 
Additional metered parking available on the street.

Activities and Attractions

This is a wonderful area to walk on the beach.  Or, if you prefer 
jogging, biking or roller blading, there is a 3-mile loop on the 
inland side of the island along the waterway. 

Downtown Wilmington offers many activities along the Cape Fear River.
North Carolina Aquarium and Civil War Museum: located at Fort Fisher-
about 35 min. drive.

Vacation Rental Rates

One Week Minimum.  Weekly rental period during the summer 
season runs Saturday 3P.M.to Sat.11A.M. Other than Saturday arrival is
occasionally available during off-season.
