Vacation Rental Description

This is a great island home! This near ocean house is a wonderful choice  
for a golfer's or family's getaway.  The home boasts 6 bedrooms decorated  
with Ralph Lauren furniture and beautiful antiques. There is a 50" hi-def  
widescreen TV in the family room with a surround sound system and 3 of the  
bedrooms also have 32" hi-def widescreen TVs ; 2 of the bedrooms have 27"  
regular TVs with DVD players.  
     The informal dining room has a beautiful round solid oak table with a lazy  
susan and seats 10 (Great for eating, games, cards) and next to the table is a  
counter that seats 3. There are 10 English walnut/ green leather chairs at the  
table; the spacious living room and full kitchen make this home comfortable,  
quiet, and relaxing for all ages. Its central island location (Location, Location,  
Location!) makes it easy to reach all of Hilton Head's many varied amenities.  
With a wrap-around full length deck on the main floor (Gated for protection of  
pets and young children) and a full length deck with ocean views on the 3rd  
floor and master bedrooms with double french doors opening to the decks on  
both floors, you won't be in want of quiet ocean breezes.  
     Situated directly adjacent to Driessen's State Park, a boardwalk connects  
the park and this property to a playground area and the ocean, a short 4  
minute walk away. Your stay can be full of sun drenched days at the beach,  
family picnics, bike rides and relaxing nature walks. This home also has its  
own beautifully landscaped custom 30 foot heated pool ( heating is extra cost  
and is not needed May through October)  so you can enjoy easy days beside  
the pool should you desire more privacy than the beach offers.  
     By the way, the Hilton Head beach at this location is beautiful with soft  
sand adjacent to a natural dune system and hard-packed sand (perfect for  
beach bike cruising) close to the water line; the beach is over 100 yards wide  
at low tide and 50 - 100 yards wide at low tide. The beach slopes gently out  
for hundreds of yards and there are no dangerous rip tides in this area. Hilton  
Head Beach Patrol lifeguards are on duty at this location through the summer  
and beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent at this beach access  
area. (Folding chairs and beach toys are located in the garage as wall as a  
wagon for toting your belonging to the beach.) 
     This house is located only 1/2 mile from Chaplin Park, which opened in  
2006, with lighted soccer and baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts,  
horseshoes, and a wonderful dog park. It is town maintained and all  
amenities are free. 
     Bradley Beach Road is conveniently located mid-island with quick access  
to all major shopping areas and many fine restaurants. The house is at the  
end of the street and is quite peaceful and quiet, away from all the traffic and  
busyness of Hwy 278. Why rent a condo in a commercial area when you can  
have the quiet luxury of your own private home? 
     Finally, please be aware that I am a "local" with local knowledge of how  
best to enjoy Hilton Head. I have lived on Hilton Head since 1984 and would  
enjoy giving advice to you about my favorite eateries, the best golf courses,  
and other activities to make the most of your stay. ENJOY!
