Vacation Rental Description

A quiet, comfortably remodeled 1930's West Bouldin duplex situated 60 metres from the
intersection of West Mary and South 5th. in Central South Austin.

The property can be reached by Capitol Metro Bus from the airport.

Included in each rental is quality ground coffee, cream, 
orange juice, milk, bread, butter, eggs, soda and beer 
of your choice.  We are happy go shopping for you if you have any 
specific requests.

The property is designed with the flexibility to be leased as a 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3.

Private entrance and off-street parking.

A,T&T landline with free local calls.
 
Time Warner 'Roadrunner' High Speed Broadband Cable Internet and 
Premium Digital Cable TV.

Central air and heat, ceiling fans throughout.

Fully equipped kitchen:  Natural gas oven/range, microwave, 
refrigerator, coffee maker, blender etc.

Dining area:   Hardwood floors, formal dining table with 6 chairs,
ceramic tile breakfast bar with barstools, sliding door leading to a
small covered deck.

Living room:  Hardwood floors, sofa and loveseat, coffee table, yoga 
mats, CD player, TV with premium digital cable.

Bedrooms:  Fitted carpet, queen sleigh beds with 100% cotton sheets, 
fold away hotel bed, inflatable or roll-out mattresses and bedding 
for additional guests. 

Bathrooms:  Ceramic tile floors, full size bath tubs with showers, 
100% cotton towels and wash cloths, hair dryer.
  
Covered patio:  Outdoor patio furniture, washer, dryer, BBQ smoker.

Fenced yard:  Direct access so you can let the dogs out naked.

Parking:  Private off-street parking for up to 5 vehicles.

Please note: The property is in a residential neighborhood and is
definitely NOT suitable for all night partying.
  
Pet's are usually OK by arrangement; there is a fenced yard with 
direct access from the living area.

Activities and Attractions

Walk/bike to and around the Ladybird Johnson (formerly Town Lake) Hike and Bike Trail.  
The Trail leads to the downtown entertainment district on the north side of the
Colorado river and to Zilker Park/Barton Springs on the south.

The Capitol Metro Bus to 6th and Congress Downtown and all connecting points 
leaves every 10 minutes during the morning commute and every 15-20 minutes at
other times from the West Mary/south 5th intersection.  The last returning bus
leaves Downtown at around 11.30pm.
The fare for an all day ticket is $1 - be sure to ask for a
connecting pass if you are going further than Downtown.

The 'Alamo South Cinema' and the 'Saxon Pub' are 1/2 mile away - walk
north on south Lamar from west Mary; on the way you will pass a pizza
restaurant (Austin's Pizza), a Chinese restaurant (Suzy's), 3 Tex-Mex
restaurants, a Starbucks and some funky stores.  If you turn south on
Lamar your first stop will be the world famous 'Horse Shoe Lounge';
shuffleboard anyone?

The property is very flexible and can be configured as a 1-1, 2-2 or 
3-3 depending on availability and the number in your party.  Please 
email with your requests and dates

1-1:  $125/night, $325/weekend, $  650/week, $1,675 a month
 
2-2:  $185/night, $475/weekend, $  950/week, $2,375 a month

3-3:  $240/night, $600/weekend, $1,200/week, $2,975 a month

Notes regarding the rates - PLEASE READ:

Surcharges for a one night stay:  1-1; $45.  2-2; $85.  3-3; $100.
The prices quoted are fully inclusive.  
Weekend rate is for 3 consecutive nights Thursday through Sunday 
A deposit of $250 is required to guarantee your short term reservation or $500 for a month or longer.
Full payment is due 7 days prior to your arrival.
