Casa Merlot is a private villa for rent in Puerto Morelos on the Mayan Riviera, Mexico close to Cancun and Playa del Carmen. We take excellent care of our home. Our mattresses are comfortable, our pots and pans are clean and new. Our linens are high quality. We include FREE internet, FREE long distance calls (up to a maximum of 2.5 hours per week). All bottled water is included as well as cleaning 3 times a week. It is the little things that make a difference in renting a house, and our house has all the little things...even Canadian satellite TV.

Casa Merlot has 2700sqft of interior space and over 3700 sqft including all the balconies and terraces. We have 3 bedrooms, each with it's own en-suite bathroom and balcony, private pool with outdoor shower and pool bathroom, outdoor BBQ, Roof top terrace with shower, ocean views....the list goes on and on. Newly built in 2005 with all the amenities you expect from home: free calls to Canada and the US, internet access and satellite TV

There will be no need to rent a car to get around as you are within walking distance to everything and airport pickup and returns are included with every rental. The beach is a 2 minute walk and the town square is about a 5 minute walk.

Casa Merlots roof top terrace has a spectacular view of the ocean
and mangroves. Have a morning coffee to the sunrise over the ocean or have a evening cocktail to the sun setting over the mangroves. If you want to sun yourself on the rooftop terrace you won't have to worry about getting too hot as you can cool yourself under the outdoor shower located up there. Maybe you'll get lucky and see one of the many flocks of tropical birds from the mangroves or the pelicans from the ocean.

The 2-bedrooms located on the 3rd floor both have morning views of the sun rising over the ocean on their private terraces. Fall asleep to the warm ocean breezes, they will lull you to sleep with tropical fragrances.

Looking for a massage, pedicure, facial or other spa treatments? Why not have one around the pool or even under the roof palapa. Book an appointment with Martina and she'll come to the villa for your treatment. There isn't a better way to start or end your vacation than with a spa treatment.

Wanting to take a tour? No problem, book with our exclusive partner company and get pick-up service right at the front door. Choose from various tours like Shopping in Cancun, golfing, deep sea fishing, ruins, swimming with the dolphins....you name it we can organize it.

This area of the Yucatan is also famous for their fresh water
caverns, called 'cenotes', believed by the Mayans to be sacred
and healing waters. There are several 'cenotes' nearby where you can
swim, snorkel and scuba dive.

Cancun: About 25 minutes from Puerto Morelos.

Playa del Carmen: About 20 minutes from Puerto Morelos

Cozumel Island: about 30 minutes by ferry boat from playa del
carmen, it is a treasure for scuba divers and snorkelers. Ferry
boats departures every hour.
