Vacation Rental Description

Imagine spending your days enjoying a spectacular waterfront location.  Our Cape Cod inspired home  
is just 3 years old and the 2 bedroom fully equipped rental suite is 20 steps from the edge of  
Burrard Inlet, which is a body of water (Pacific Ocean) extending from the City of Vancouver to the  
City of Port Moody where the suite is located.  Enjoy watching the herons, ducks, Canadian geese,  
and seals exploring the water just feet away from your private patio with jacuzzi. The south facing  
bank of windows also provides a terrific view of the Inlet from within the suite. 
 
Each bedroom is furnished with queen size beds and the comfortable, open living and kitchen area  
includes a gas fireplace, television with DVD player and VCR, modern appliances (refrigerator,  
dishwasher, range, microwave), and granite countertops.  The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes,  
coffee maker, kettle, utensils, pots/pans, cutlery.  A private laundry room with a washer and dryer  
is also provided within the suite.  All bed linens and towels are provided. 
 
Dine inside or out on the brick patio which also has a jacuzzi tub. 
 
The 4 piece bathroom is bright, clean and decorated in fresh beach colours.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Port Moody is a 20 minute train ride, or 30 minute drive from Vancouver's downtown core.  In 2004,   
the prestigous United Nations sponsored award for Liveable Communities was awarded to the City of  
Port Moody ... the 3rd most liveable city to live in the world! 
 
The suite is located close to a wonderful park with a sandy beach and a playground perfect for  
children.  Walk, run, or bike the trails that lead from this park across to the other side of the  
Inlet to another fabulous park with a brand new waterfront restaurant.  These trails also lead to  
NewPort Village where you will find supermarkets, small grocers and butcher, restaurants, cafes,  
pubs, clothing stores, and a great deli/bakery. This shopping area is a 3 minute drive or 15 minute  
walk away (bus service also available).   
 
The City of Port Moody's library and recreation centre complete with ice rinks, fitness classes,  
yoga, weight room is also a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk by trail. 
 
The suite is close to public transit (bus, train, and skytrain)

Activities and Attractions

There is a canoe that renters are welcome to use and bikes may also be available.  The hammock is a  
great place to relax with a good book while you take in the amazing sunset. 
 
There is plenty to do in Port Moody...shopping, dining, the outdoors.  In addition to our waterfront  
setting, there are two beautiful fresh water lakes located 10 minutes away... both nestled in  
mountains...you would forget how close you are to an urban centre. 
 
Of course the City of Vancouver is a phenomenal metropolitan city to visit as it is framed by  
majestic mountains and sparkling sea.  We have unbelievable food/dining available in Vancouver and  
Port Moody. 
 
Golf, ski, boat, shop...what's your pleasure and you could all of these activities in the same day  
where we live.  Vancouver has three local ski mountains (Grouse, Cypress, and Seymour mountains)  
that are a 45 minute drive from this home.  Golf courses are everywhere. 
 
We provide a range of board games and movies in the suite.

Vacation Rental Rates

Peak Season (June 1 to September 30):  Daily rate is $250/per night, double occupancy, 3 night  
minimum stay.  $25 per additional person.  Weekly rate is $1400. 
 
 
 
 
Low Season (October 1 to May 31):  Daily rate is $150/per night, double occupancy, 3 night minimum  
stay.  $25 per additional person.  Weekly rate is $1000.
