Ground Floor - Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu Beach

Kiahuna Plantation is located on the sunny Poipu Beach on the south
side of Kauai. It is the only sandy beach-fronted condominium resort
on the island. Sitting on 35 acres of lush tropical gardens, our
plantation-style bungalow provides an authentic Hawaiian experience
to its guests.

Our garden-view deluxe bungalow is located on the ground floor in
Building 19, with a
view of the pristine grounds and a glimpse of the ocean. You can walk
out from our bungalow's patio to the beach in less than two minutes.
There is a brand new California king-sized bed in the bedroom and a
queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. All the towels, linens,
toiletries in the bedroom and the bathroom are provided. Our beach
house also has a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to cook your
meal. Cookware and dinnerware are provided as well. If you want to
grill some island fresh fish for dinner, there is a gas grill about
20 steps from our lanai you are welcome to use. There is another
grill by the beach for your use as well if ocean front dinning is
preferred. Our beach house has a full bath.

You can relax by lounging at our oversized lanai, surrounding
yourself by fragrant fruit and floral, and tall swaying palms and
bamboo. The lanai walks right out onto the grass.
You can take a walk through the perfectly manicured lawn
area, and breathe in fresh air on this tropical paradise. Or perhaps
you would like to lie under the sun on the pristine stretch of sand
just steps away, relaxing your eyes looking at the blue pacific
ocean.

The white sand beach fronting the plantation is one of America’s most
beautiful beaches. It was highly recommended by The Ultimate Kauai
Guidebook. An abundance of tropical fish and turtles makes this a
great snorkeling location. Just outside the reef, you can spend your
day boogie boarding and surfing. The Poipu Beach is the perfect spot
for hearing the ocean, swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding,
sunbathing, and relaxing.

The Kiahuna Swim and Tennis Club, across Poipu Rd offers ten tennis
courts and a newly
renovated swimming pool for our guests. The swimming pool is equipped
with waterfalls, shallow sandy beach area, and a water-slide. It is
ideal for our junior guests and those who are young at heart.

There are plenty to do and plenty to see around Poipu and on the
island of Kauai. Exploring waterfalls, hiking an historic trail,
snorkeling with sea turtles, and enjoying great meals at the
restaurants (just footsteps away) are our favorite pastime on the
island. For the golf lovers, there are many champion golf courses in
Poipu you can tee off. Or just relax and watch the ocean waves and
listen to them roar.
