Vacation Rental Description

The Mutiny Bay Beach house is a lovely waterfront home with 
a small orchard (1 1/2 acres)  on  the sandy "Gold Coast" of Whidbey 
Island's western side.  From the extra large deck you will 
experience some of the most beautiful sights of the Olympic 
Mountains, the beautiful sandy beach, the huge cargo ships and the 
cruise ships that go by on the weekends. Not to mention some of the 
prettiest sunsets that exist.  The huge lawn is just beyond the
perennial garden that hosts your dinner centerpiece. In the orchard, 
the children can play on the jungle gym while you pick from the 5 
apple, 2 pear, two plum and 2 apricot treeS. 
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for
up to 8 people (including all paper products and a few common spices). 
Let your guests sit at the bar and visit with you while you prepare 
your meals.  
The big rock fireplace in the great room will warm you 
in winter and the huge ceiling fan will keep you cool in summer.
The two oversized bedrooms on the main floor, (a master with a king bed and 
fireplace and another with a queen that are "dressed" with 600 count
Egyptian cotton linens. 
The children have their own bedroom upstairs which is decorated in a "Fun, beach theme".
In the den you will find a 2nd TV and vcr/dvd.
There are games. and puzzles for both adults and children, along with 
a small library. Here you will also find "DSL" for your computer if you must have contact with the 
outside world during your stay.
The laundry room is fully equipped and ready for 
your use stocked with detergent.
 After your day on the beach of water activites, while you barbeque 
on your gas barbeque, you will enjoy relaxing on very comfy chairs 
and lounge chairs while you watch the sun set and the Olympic 
Mountains turn red. Just after dusk, you may be lucky enough to see
one of the two huge grey owls come out to search for their evening 
meal. The kids will enjoy chasing the rabbits and watching for the 
deer in the orchard. As you turn down your bed that night, you will
appreciate how comfortable it is. All linens except your beach towel 
are provided, along with hairdryers, soap and shampoo. 
All this on one of the most quaint and fun islands of Washington 
state.
 

Vacation Rental Amenities

For your pleasure, you will find golf, hiking, bird watching, wine 
tasting, bicycle lanes and beachcombing and clamming.  
The two country towns of Langley and Coupewille offer retaurants, 
fun shopping, street fairs and art galleries.  A short walk on the
Keystone ferry lets you off at historic Port Townsend, where you 
will enjoy exploring many more shops, restaurants and just seeing
how life existed at the entrance to Puget Sound in the 1800s. Or 
maybe you will want to check out Hurricane Ridge just outside of 
Port 
Angeles.
Back on your own side of the ferry, make sure you check out Camp
Casey which was the fort that protected the entrance to Puget Sound
in early days.

hiking, bicycling, clamming, street fairs, winetasting, lounging,
watching the cruise and cargo ships go by, reading, pie baking,
restaurants, museums sightseeing and shopping.

             $450. Per Night (3 night minimum)  $1,350.
