Located on 10 acres in the heart of the Stag's Leap District and minutes to World Class dinning, this phenomenal estate with a 3500 sq.ft. Main House with intoxicating views of the Napa Valley and also with a 40' by 25' swimming pool,a gas barbecue on a 14 ft. island includes a sink and two burners for entertaining while basking in the warmth of the sun, away from the Main House is like having your own resort. Just minutes off the Silverado Trail away from the hustle and bustle of the main highway. Very close to the Silverado Country Club and Spa, for a little golf or incredible facials and massages. Also 10 minutes to Yountville,  home of The French Laundry and many other famous restaurants,15 minutes to St Helena, many boutiques and restaurants as well, and minutes to all 400 wineries in the Napa Valley.

The well appointed kitchen invites both the casual cook and the master cheif to create delicious meals. The Main House has an enormous open room that comprises the living space and kitchen, somehow gives an intimate feel despite its expansive dimensions. The living area is drawn together by the granite stone fireplace with comfortable sofathat allows spirited conversations or provides an agreeable setting to contemplate the breathtaking views.

Perfect Napa Getaway!

My husband and I had been to Napa before. Originally, we planned on staying at a resort but one of our traveling buddies recommended we get a house. I found Caroline's getaway on google and it looked perfect for three couples spending a long weekend touring the wineries. And it was! Every room in the house is comfortable. We loved being able to wake up every morning and make breakfast and then later barbecue outside for dinner. The heated pool was an extra benefit! And the location is PERFECT if you are doing the wineries. Not only is area around the house gorgeous, but its so close to everything. When we go back to Napa we will DEFINITELY stay at Caroline's getaway!

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Idyllic and perfect!

Some friends and I stayed in Carolines house this summer. We were all so impressed with the property - it is absolutely idyllic. There is an adjacent vineyard, lovely gardens and the pool is perfect! It is such a serene spot - we would all visit the wineries during the early part of the days until we were all anxious to get home and back to the pool. After some sunbathing and pool time, we would grill for dinner and on occasion be visited by the family of foxes! It could not have been better and now that we are all back in our "real" homes... we are all ready to go back! And just an aside - Caroline is great to work with, very responsive and a wonderful host.

Our perfect getaway for a month!

Caroline's getaway is a very cozy, peaceful, easy retreat in the heart of Napa Valley. Our family spent the month of June there this year. First from our perspective, the home was updated and spacious enough for our family, yet felt tranquil and peaceful. The gardens surrounding the house are beautiful and the panoramic view through the walls of windows is so lush and colorful. First thing in the morning we opened the doors to the deck and had tea and breakfast. Then the girls played outside until it was pool time...and it was pool time almost every day. The pool is very large and a perfect temperature. Plenty of lounging furniture and a complete gas grill and cooking island with a sink. Lots of unbrellas to allow for long days at the pool. In the evening, we openend a bottle of wine from one of the local vineyards and enjoyed our dinner either out by the pool or near the house on the deck off of the kitchen. The house is located off of the Silverado Trail so all Napa has to offer is very accesible from the house. The house is about a mile off of the main road so you get the feel of seclusion without being too far. We would just pack up the kids drive to a nearby winery and purchase a bottle or two and head back.
We had dinner a couple of times in town as well.
From our daughters' perspective we were staying in a magical place with a fairy garden. They collected fallen petals and rocks and made fairy rings for the visiting fairies. The pool was perfect and the tiny vineyard next door was magical.
Caroline and Wayne were so helpful with little questions and reccomendations. You can tell they put a lot of TLC into their home.
It was the perfect summer getaway for our family and we can't wait to get back!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway
