Vacation Rental Description

Built in 1962, Casa Michelotti is the perfect combination of Old 
Tahoe Charm and modern convenience.  It is located a half block from 
Lake Tahoe's beautiful West Shore.

The Great Room has plenty of seating, where you will enjoy views of 
towering pine, fir, and cedar trees outside, and a large stone 
fireplace inside.  The dining area has a beautiful antique oak table 
that can be opened to comfortably accomodate up to 14 people.  There 
is additional seating at the counter in the kitchen, where you will 
find all of the conveniences of home, including a dishwasher, 
microwave, and everything necessary to prepare meals.

Casa Michelotti has five bedrooms which are furnished with:
1)  1 king size bed
2)  1 queen 
3)  1 queen & 1 twin
4)  1 queen & 1 rollaway
5)  4 twins (upstairs, enclosed loft)

The two bathrooms include:
1)  full bath with tub/shower
2)  full bath with shower and washer/dryer

Outside there is a spacious deck (complete with tables, chairs, and 
a new BBQ), off street parking for up to six cars, and a bear-proof 
container for garbage.

Casa Michelotti is in the McKinney Shores subdivision, where you may 
enjoy beach access at the Homeowner's Pier/BBQ Area, which is a very 
short walk from the house.

If you are looking for a special gathering place for a family 
reunion or a large group of friends, Casa Michelotti is the place

Subject: We had a great time!

Hi Bette,
We had a great time at your cabin. The pictures didn't do it justice.
We loved the big stone fireplace and the spacious open feel. Very, 
very comfortable on cold winter days and nights. Having Dish TV and 
wireless internet was also a big plus.

We would really like to rent it again, maybe this summer. We need to 
check our schedules against your cabins availability. Wow, someday 
maybe our family can get someplace like this up at Tahoe. Until then 
we would love to keep your place at the top of our list!

All linens and towels are included, as is housecleaning upon 
departure.

Beach access is available within walking distance.

A paved bike trail begins behind the house and goes to Tahoe City & 
continues on along the Truckee River to Squaw Valley.

For your entertainment...3 TVs with Dish Network, VCR, DVD, stereo, 
dart board, and a collection of games for kids and adults.

Phone with answering machine.

Charcoal BBQ.

Washer & dryer.

Gas furnace. 

Activities and Attractions

Winter...
Skiing and snowboarding at nearby Homewood Ski Area (1 mile away, 
where kids ski free!) or any of the World Class Ski areas in the 
area...Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, etc.
Snowshoeing or Cross Country skiing out the back door or at nearby  
Sugar Pine Point State Park(2 miles south).
Snowmobile rentals 7 miles away in Tahoe City.  Sledding.


Summer...
Waterskiing, boating, hiking, golf, tennis, river rafting, bicycling 
(great bike path as far as Squaw Valley), horseback riding, fishing, 
sailing, diving & snorkeling.

Year Around...
Great restaurants, museums, sightseeing, & gambling.

Vacation Rental Rates

2 night minimum = $700.
Each additional night = $260.
Weekly = $2000.

Additional $400. for holiday weeks(4th of July,Thanksgiving, 
Christmas, and New Year's)

Cleaning, firewood, and snow removal are included in above prices.
This is a No Pet, Non-Smoking house.
