Perfect cozy beach house in a great location that is convenient 
yet quiet with easy parking. New renovation/construction 2004, with 
improvements annually! Well maintained.
   * Less than 300 yards to beach.  
   * 3 blocks to boardwalk. 
   * 4-6 blocks to historic district,(Maryland Ave. near 
     Philadelphia Ave - convenient to beach, boardwalk and shopping, 
     yet quiet street with ample parking.)

1st floor retains the charm of the original cottage with a 
cozy living room and 3BRs on first floor 
*bedding is 1 queen, 1 full, 2 singles) 
plus 1 bathroom with tub/shower, 
kitchen with new full size refrigerator, new stove, new dishwasher, 
new sink. New 1st floor covered (and now screened-in)front porch and 
rear deck leads to 
large open back yard with shade tree, enclosed outside 
hot/cold shower, and charcoal grill for cookouts.  
* Maryland Ave. near Philadelphia Ave - convenient to beach, 
boardwalk and shopping, yet quiet street with ample parking.

Upstairs (when renting it asa 5BR/2BA) enjoy 2 brand new bedrooms facing rear yard(bedding is 1 
full and 1 queen)and another full bathroom. (In the summer and/or 
when renting it as a 5BR

Vacation Rental Amenities

- Renovated/new addition in 2004, with yearly improvements since
- New central air/heat
- New windows
- Cozy Living Room with 2 sofas and a chair
- New, fully equipped kitchen (table seats 4, plus bar w/ 4 
stools, full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, plates, 
glasses, utensils, pans, provided.
- Covered first floor front porch that is now also screened-in (you 
can hear the waves crashing in the distance, at night)
- Large Rear deck (where most people hang out and have their meals)
- Quiet street-close to beach
- Ample free parking on street (never a problem - unique area)
- sorry, no pets.
- Pillows, and a blanket provided for each bed. Linens (towels, 
sheets, pillow cases, bath mats provided by tenant)
-Sec Dep. refundable within 30 days as long as house is left in same 
condition found without damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning 
needed.  I have only had to deduct anything from a security deposit 
3 times in 10 years - that's three times out of maybe 80 renters) 
Cleaning fee covers cleaning crew of 2 people for 1 hour; if you 
leave it excessively dirty they will charge more.
-sorry, no pets allowed and maximum of 10 people for the 5BR house. 
- This is a well maintained and renovated house with a "shore 
cottage" feel. The rooms are not large, but renovated/new and very 
well maintained. Unlike other listings, this house sleeps 8-10 in 
beds!:) (not on floor or sleeper sofas like most places. There are 
no sofa beds nor is there extra floor space...but there are 
5 bedrooms and beds for the amount of people allowed)

Activities and Attractions

Cape May has it all - for all types. And all Fall, there are great 
events, like Victorian Week, The Food and Wine Festival, Fall Jazz 
Fest, etc. Of course, there are great beaches - Cape May has been 
ranked one of the top beaches in the US - one of the nicest being 
just up the street (it is about 300 yards. You will pass only 4 
houses and one hotel on the way. ((the blocks are narrow so you pass 
over 3 streets with only 2 houses or one hotel on each block))There 
is a nice boardwalk for running, walking, shops and some 
amusements and a theater across the street. The historic district is 
3-6 block walk. Cape May is essentially an island escape. You can 
walk or bike the entire small island. We park the car, and don't use 
it again until we leave, because everything is so close to the house 
and such great sights to see as you walk or bike. Of course we are 
biased, but we think our house has the perfect location - it is 
unique in that it is so close to everything, but on a quiet street 
where you can park easily, and it is a quiet relaxing area of town.

Fri 6/13 - Fri 6/20 $1899 for 3BR house or $2595 for the 5BR (save. a week later it was $3395)

July: $3395/wk - full. booked-up in Dec.

August: 1 week left; the rest booked-up by Jan.
Sun 8/31 - Sat 9/6 $2595 as 5BR or $1899 as 3BR house (save. one week earlier was $3395)

Here is an overview of how we rent. As you may know, 99% of rentals 
rent Sat to Sat in Cape May with no flexibility. We allow for some 
flexibility because it seems to accommodate people's needs better.
- In the Summer, we rent some specified weeks for 5-6 nights at a 
reduced rate. We've found people like this because that gives them 
an extra day at home before or after their vacation to get caught up 
so they actually enjoy their vacation, saves them some money, and 
sometimes avoids the traffic jams. 5 night min and availble only as 
stated above on specific dates.
- In the Spring and Fall, we are able to accommodate smaller 
families or couples that are looking for smaller accommodations without being 
crammed into a motel room, and/or wanting to stay a shorter time - 
maybe a long weekend or half a week. We are able to do this because 
we can simply lock off the 2nd floor and rent you the first floor 
which has 3 BRs, BA, kitchen, FR, covered front porch and rear deck. 
Minimum is 3 nights. 
- Renting any stay this year (even off season or short stays) qualifies you for priority booking and 
discount for next year for previous renters.

Cleaning service charges $85 (65 when 3BR). Sec. deposit is $500. 
Sorry, no pets/ no smoking inside. Renters: Leases and deposit 
should be mailed back to landlord within 2 days to hold your time. 3 
night minimum Sept to May. 5 night minimum with availability and rates as 
posted here for June-Aug. Check in is 3 pm, check out is 10 am. 1/2 payment due with signed lease. 
Remainder due 1 mo prior to check in.
