From some world travelers: After a while it gets to be a bit hectic which is why the high point (of the year) was spending some time at the Salerno's house on the beach. It was relaxing and peaceful to watch the dolphins jump and feed; pelicans glide just above the surface of the water - when they feed they extend their lower jaw, plopping in the water as they catch the fish; other birds diving vertically. The house is far from any city so we were able to see the stars like we hadn't in years....The Milky Way... just a myriad of pinpoints that you can't quite focus on. Dec 2007 We still have fond memories of our stay at your house. I'm hoping we can come back some time for another visit. The beach was glorious and the house perfectly set up to take advantage of it. Nov 2007 My 46th birthday was Friday the 8th and Richard somehow managed to have NASA send up the Space Shuttle in my honor! We walked the beach and took pictures of it going off around 7:40...all the other beach walkers were so friendly and it was a real party atmosphere; who could have wished for a better birthday candle than that one! June 2007 I just wanted to let you know how much fun we had at your beautiful beach house. It was the absolute best vacation my family has ever had. My kids loved the beach and were able to find a lot of shark's teeth and fantastic shells. They want to return to the beach house again next year, but they want to stay longer! - Joel and Suzanne April 2007 We found over 300 shark teeth, some fossils I've yet to identify and about 2 pounds of wonderful sea glass....Richard caught his biggest Whiting ever. We feasted on Whiting, Flounder and shrimp for a couple days....We kayaked in Guana on several evenings at sunset and it was quite breathtaking. I shot about 500 pictures with my Nikon during our time there. - Richard and Lori, returning guests December 2006 We wanted to let you know what a great time we had at your beach house. Having two whole weeks this year was fantastic...I love to beach comb and we found 707 shark teeth this year. - Richard and Lori July 6, 2006 My family still cannot stop talking about the beach house - months later. It was the best family vacation we ever had. I wanted to see if we could reserve a couple of weeks (for next summer.) - Jeff and Julia, returning guests November 2006 I just wanted to let you know that we really had a wonderful time in your beach house. The location is terrific for a peaceful, private experience. My children couldn't get enough of the beach and felt right at home in the house. - Jeff and Julia July 2006 We really enjoyed your beach house. We lived outside on the decks and the beach. What I loved was that no matter where you stand in the house, there is a view of the ocean.....You will probably be hearing from us again! "We had a great time at your beach house!!!... We saw several schools of dolphin and loved watching the birds diving for fish... My husband and 8 year old fished and caught quite a few fish within minutes of putting their lines in the water."
