My primary motive for heading up to Kezar Lake was to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and the burdens of the desk. However, I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough to keep the kids entertained. Boy, was I wrong :)!!! The boys spent their whole vacation in the Lake- catching frogs and fishing for sun fish. The hardest part was trying to get them out of the water to join the rest of the family for dinner on the porch!

We had a great time. We'll definitely be back again!

Highlight of our summer

We have just reserved The Lodge and both cottages for our second annual family vacation at Gilmore Camps. Our family can hardly wait ~ it certainly is the highlight of our summer. The lake is beautiful, and the houses are immaculate. We all have small children (from 5 months to 7 years old) and Gilmore Camps proves to be the perfect place for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The beach is beautiful and the property is huge, which is perfect for the little ones to run around safely. We will be back to the Gilmore Camps every summer for a very very long time! David and I as Sacred Winds performed at a wedding held at your camp on Sept 26th, 2009. When we arrived, not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised at the beauty we found there. The peace and tranquility was wonderful. We were hired by Rose and Rene, who also told us how much they loved your camp. It was easy to see why. Thank you for keeping the natural beauty of the landscape, enhanced by what you have done.
