Rock n' Stare Ledges in Green Lake

The 3-story vacation home has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (new full bath on 1st floor). 2nd floor has a bathroom with shower/tub. House has a full kitchen with gas stove and microwave, and a washer and dryer.
The house sleeps 6 people with 1 double bed, twin bunk beds, and 2
double futon/sofa beds. The lakeside home also has a wrap around deck and a new screened porch over looking the lake, 2 outside decks and a dock at the shore. The home is not suitable for small children because of the 2 sets of stairs and the outside decks. There are also 2 grills – one on the 2nd floor deck and one large one in the yard by the picnic table).
The house is fully equipped with towels, sheets, mattress pads,
dishes, pots & pans, utensils. The kitchen has a full stock of
spices, coffee filters, paper towels, etc. Please feel free to use,
but please replace when empty. There are also supplies of toilet
paper, laundry soap, cleaning agents and charcoal.

There is a dock at the lake and an 18’ aluminum canoe for your use.
Paddle and lifejackets are also provided. The canoe holds a maximum
of 3 people.

The vacation home is secluded and quiet, and is on a 20-acre wooded
site with 500 feet of shoreline on Green Lake. Sunsets will be one
of the highlights of your day. The surroundings are some of the most
pristine scenery you will ever view. Water recreation includes
swimming and fishing. Nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, and
bicycling. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are only 30 minutes
to the east, Bangor and the airport are only 30 minutes west.
Green Lake is a clear, glacier lake with a rocky shore. It is about
9 miles long, with a water depth of 120 feet. Fish include bass,
toque, and land-locked salmon. A fishing license is required and can
be bought at the local store.
The town of Ellsworth is 15 minutes from the house. The downtown has
many unique shops and restaurants. Ellsworth also has 2 major
grocery stores and a Wal-Mart.

We are currently renting for the 2011 Summer Season. The house is
available July 9 through September 26. The house is rented
Saturday to Saturday for $1000 per week. A deposit of $250.00 is
due at time of rental along with half of the rental rate. Total due
at time of rental is $750 (for one week).
Balance of the rent is paid when you arrive. The deposit will be
refunded upon your departure confirming there are no damages to the
house or property and you fulfill the rental. Deposit is forfeited
if you cancel. Sorry, no pets allowed. The house is not handicap
accessible.
