Our street was very fortunate, and sufferred minimal damage in the storm.
Our house is structurally intact, and is habitable.
We are replacing the roof, the entire kitchen, some ceilings, and repainting several rooms.
We anticipate that the house will be complete for the 2013 season by June 1.
n by June 1st.This single family, 2 story home is located in the North end of Lavallette.
It is perfect for a family reunion, or 2 family rental.
It is the sixth house from the beach,
on a quiet ocean block. It is one of the oldest residences in
Lavallette, and has been owned by our family for 40 years.
It is an informal, unpretentious home, where you can kick your shoes off and
relax.
The main house has 8 bedrooms, (3 queen size beds, 7 twin
beds, and 1 full bed), and 1.5 bathrooms, as well as a brand new kitchen with granite countertops, dining room,
living room and enclosed porch/t.v. room. Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, right off of the bathroom; ideal for older adults.
The "back room", attached to the garage,
is separated from the main house by a large covered patio, and has a
single room with 2 twin beds, and a bathroom with shower stall. It is perfect for elderly adults, a couple with a new baby, or teens who want to be near, but not that near, their parents.
Renters must hire cleaning company, (a preferred list will be supplied).
