Goldilocks Cabin: Romantic Honeymoon Hideaway in Stowe

Goldilocks Cottage is the ideal setting for a honeymoon or a romantic
getaway. This lovely cottage, nestled on 4 wooded acres, is located
just 1 mile from Stowe village. Interior decorator Wendy Valliere's
inspiration for this little gem (originally her own ski cottage) was
that of a Bavarian ski lodge. Well appointed with Black Forest and
French antiques, hand loomed rugs, and lush draperies, this cottage
does indeed transport the visitor to the Austrian alps.
The piping hot wood stove and the chiming cuckoo clock makes this
cottage a cozy retreat after a day of hiking or skiing. The master
suite has an antique four poster bed, complete with custom bedding,
and a sitting alcove with a sleeper sofa. The sleeping loft has a full
size bed. There are also 2 decks and a barbeque grill, washer dryer,
fully equipped kitchen and a shed for ski storage.

Skiing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, hiking,
kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, scenic drives, folliage,
antiquing, balloon rides, outdoor concerts. There are two spas in
Stowe, and lots of great restaurants. Montreal, Burlington and
Montpelier are all day trips from Stowe. In the summer Stowe has open air concerts, and a great Farmer's Market with lots and lots of organic foods, and crafts.

Summer: $1300 per week $225 per night

Christmas, New Years and Presidents Week: $495 per night
