Vacation Rental Description

This lovely Craftsman home was built in 1911 in the sunny South Park 
community blocks from Balboa Park and Golf course. It is centrally 
located on the San Diego transit system which stops one block away. 
It has original hardwood floors throughout the first floor. The warm 
and nostalgic feeling in the home is that of being in times gone by, 
yet it has all the modern conveniences. Walking distance to 
neighborhood markets, boutiques, restaurants, deli, coffee shops and 
pub.
If you love museums, like the Natural History Museum or the Museum of 
Photographic Arts and have never been to Balboa Park or the world 
famous San Diego Zoo this location is ideal.
Want to tour the Harbor?  Shop at Seaport Village? Visit the Point 
Loma Light House? Visit Old Town or Gas Lamp District? or how about 
play tennis, golf or go hiking or biking.  It's all within minutes of 
this charming vacation rental.  The average year round temp is 75 
degrees.
Are you in town for business or a trade show/convention at the San 
Diego Convention Center?  It's just down the hill.  If you want to go 
to Mexico it's just 20 minutes by freeway. Charger NFL football at 
Qualcom Stadium is in the valley and Petco Major League Baseball Park

This historic home is modern and up to date.  It has two beautiful 
Queen sized beds upstairs with air conditioning and one double bed 
downstairs. One bathroom 
upstairs and one downstairs. 
One room with two twin beds. Washer, dryer and two refrigerators in 
the kitchen.  Gas stove, microwave, dishwaser.  Fenced backyard with 
a sundeck and a gas BBQ grill.    

Activities and Attractions

Neighborhood restaurants, pubs and shops, tennis and golf walking 
distance away. The VA Medical Center is 3 minutes away and the San 
Diego Convention Center is 7 Minutes away.  Balboa Park is 5 just 
minutes with it's beautiful museums and the San Diego Zoo.
