Serenity Cottage on the Peshtigo River in Peshtigo

A tranquil cottage situated on the Peshtigo River north of the small, northwoods town of Peshtigo. Located on five wooded acres with 300' of river frontage. Quiet solitude abound while shopping, dining and exploring the north woods is all within 7-10 minutes. So many winter activities, like ice skating, downhill and cross country skiing and candlelit snowshoeing.

We are very pet and family friendly. We are happy to help you plan a fun filled getaway, letting you know when local events, concerts and festivities occur to make the most of your trip. We are a bird watcher and nature lover's delight because of all the special care we take to make a safe and peaceful home for all wildlife. In the winter raptors abound and viewing the daily flights of the eagle is easy and breathtaking. Lounge in front of the fireplace, or snowshoe along the river or get lost in a book you've meaning to read.

Hot Tub is 102 degrees all day every day.

The decor is coastal based with hues of blue and motifs that reflect the rich light house history of the region. There's a queen bed in master bedroom and a lounger that fold out to a full bed. Pirate's Cove, a converted alcove, features a twin bed and hosts a huge supply of coloring books, a treasure chest, tea party supplies and games. All linens and bedding supplied. Living room with fireplace and extra large sofa, large flat screen LCD TV with DVD, cable and pay per view movies. Also includes a computer and wireless internet. Full service kitchen with dishes and linens, bottled water, microwave, etc. Also at no charge is access to 24 hour fitness health club access.

The cottage is located in Wisconsin six miles from the Upper Michigan
border of Menominee, Michigan and Marinette, Wisconsin. A large
sailing community is located in Menominee, which sponsors races and
community events throughout the year. Downhill and cross country
skiing destinations are close by. Many golf courses within just a few
miles. A great area for road biking with epic rides and few cars. Many
people fly in and out of the Green Bay's Austin Straubel Airport or the
Menominee, Michigan Airport to visit the EAA and other destinations.

Wisconsin 5% Lodging Tax not included in rate.

We require a 50% deposit by credit card to confirm a reservation with the balance due before arrival.

If you must cancel, you can apply your deposit toward a future rental at any of our locations or if you would like a refund, we retain 25% of the deposit and refund the remainder within 3 weeks.
