Admiral's Cottage in Deep Creek Lake

Admiral's Cottage is tailor made for vacations or group retreats and
especially caters to people who like to return each year to "their
vacation home."

Roam the 4-1/2 acre site among the trees, sit in a rocking chair on
the front porch, relax on the deck or by the stream. Walk across the
street to the lake where a dock for your boat waits. The cove is "no
wake" for peaceful swimming and fishing.

Four large bedrooms, all with quality king size beds, lovely linens,
TV's, and a table for two offer privacy.

Multiple common areas enable you to spend time with friends or to
find a cozy corner to read alone. The favorite gathering place is
the great room adjoining the kitchen. Here the cook or cooks can
enjoy the company of other guests at the table for ten. In the
winter the large woodburning fireplace provides warmth and
atmosphere. In the summer the Weber grill is steps away on the
deck. There is also a table with umbrella for eating outside.

Sit by the fireplace in the formal living room, play chess or cards
at the game table or enjoy your coffee and newspaper as the morning
sun fills the room with light. In the den sit with friends, watch TV
or stroll out onto the large deck. Next door is the dining room with
a table for twelve set for formal ocassions.

On the lower level is a recreation area. In the movie theater sit in
the chairs from the old Georgetown Biograph Theatre and enjoy any of
the large collection of DVD's. In the adjoining room shoot pool on a
beautiful table or play the piano.

Movie theater with 55" screen and large movie collection for the

A total of seven TV's with cable service, one in each bedroom,
in the den, kitchen, and recreation room.

Computer with DSL, local phone service.

Well-appointed kitchen.

Essentials provided so that you don't have to bring them: TP, paper
towels, soap, shampoo.

Property manager on call, maid service available upon request for a
fee of $45 per day. Service includes: making the beds, cleaning the
kitchen, cleaning and stowing the dishes, picking up the trash and
other loose articles, emptying the trash receptacles, and vacuuming
the floors, if needed. The maid service can be ordered for any or
all of the days during your vacation

Ask about special packages including "Girls' Indulgence Weekend"
(massage, manicure/pedicure, etc), Bridal Partys and Showers, cooking
demonstrations and meal preparation, or we can work out a unique one
for you.

Other services can be arranged as well, depending on the availability
of vendors (catering, limousine, etc.). Let us know how we can help

Boating (Admiral's Cottage has its own boat dock), water-skiing,
snow skiing at Wisp Ski Resort, hiking, local movie theater (movies
and times can be accessed from the Admiral's Cottage website),
movies in the Admiral's Cottage own movie theater (see website for
pictures) with on-site movie collection, barbeque, jacuzzi, and
more. In addition to all the activities right at home at the
Admiral's Cottage, and at the lake, the local community has many
