This bright and spacious home is spread out on three floors with a southwest exposure overlooking the lake and mountains. It has hardwood floors and antique furnishings throughout as well as all the necessary comforts: appliances, dishes, linens etc. The main floor offers an entrance hall, office-den, laundry and powder room. The open kitchen dining room leads to a large summer veranda, which easily accommodates twelve for dinner, while enjoying spectacular sunsets. Finally the living room with fireplace is a cozy space to spend evenings. The second floor has a master bedroom with ensuite and sitting area. There are also two other bedrooms and a full bathroom with a large soaker tub. The lower level has a large bedroom, living room suite with bathroom and a separate entry, with mudroom. This residence allows you be at the center of one of the most scenic areas of all Quebec. This home away from home is a magical place where you can truly experience Quebec’s hospitality and ‘’ joie de vivre’’.
From your private terrace with dock on Brome Lake you can swim, fish, windsurf, have a nap, read a book or enjoy amazing sunsets . You can rent canoes, kayaks, and pedal crafts, all within walking distance. In the winter you can cross country ski on the lake, snowshoe and skate, as well ice fishing is a popular pastime. There are gardens and a fire pit which sits on the edge of a forest. It is in close proximity to a variety of antique shops,unique boutiques,theaters,restaurants that are renowned for their cuisine.
Bromont, Glen, Sutton, Orford, Owl’s Head and Jay Peak Vermont, are all outdoor recreational centres. They offer a wide range of activities year round; hiking trails, mountain biking, water slides, cross-country and downhill skiing. These areas have produced many of Canada’s best-known skiers and lately mountain bikers. There is also a skidoo trail nearby and a bicycle path with in line skating. In the region there are numerous fairs,summer and fall festivals and downtown Montreal is just one hour away.
1000 to 1500 a week. Throughout the fall season,which is magnificent in the Eastern Townships we have a dayly rate of $300 and $500 for a minimum 2 nights stay.Also available for the winter season at the rate of $6000 for four months.
