in Victorian Ocean Grove. Updated and beautifully decorated with
period pieces and reproductions. Two bedrooms, sleeps 4 comfortably
with 2 pullout sofas for the occasional overnight guest (2 additional persons). Ocean
views, lots of windows, light and airy. Ceiling fans and air conditioners throughout.
It is a charming place to relax and decompress from the hectic
Northeast pace. Well-located on a pretty street on the desirable
South end of the boardwalk, we are also close to the fishing pier and steps away from the showers and facilities on the uncluttered, uncommercial
boardwalk. Park and tennis court nearby. The front yard and
gas barbecue grill are available for your use.

Beautiful ocean views...two adult beach passes included with rental.
Kitchen is stocked with dishes and utensils. Microwave, toaster
oven, coffee maker. Cable TV, DVD, VCR, phones. High-speed internet.
Linens on premises. Beach chairs.

The town of Ocean Grove, New Jersey, is on the National Register of
Historic Places. A visit to this historic enclave is like stepping
back to another era, when the pace was slower and pleasures simpler.
Just a 5 minute walk from our beach house, you will find antique
shops, art galleries, a fully-restored soda fountain, an
old-fashioned,but well-stocked market, an ice cream parlor in
operation since the turn of the century, a terrific cheese shop, great
bakeries and coffee shops and other excellent places to shop and dine.
Nearby Asbury Park has some great new restaurants to discover. And
best of all, right outside your door, the beach is just a stone's
throw away!

Enjoy the free Saturday organ concerts, the weekly entertainment
series at the Great Auditorium, old-fashioned band concerts on the
boardwalk on Wednesday nights, classical music series, Centennial
cottage tour (highly recommended for a look at life in Ocean Grove at
the turn of the 20th century), beach activities and so much more. You
will truly feel transported to another place and time.
Since everything is within walking distance, you can park the car and
not move it again until you leave. In addition, Ocean Grove is
convenient to shore train (Bradley Beach or Asbury Park stations) and
bus from NYC stops right on Main Street in town.
