This oceanfront cottage nestled in an enclave of oaks and pines is
ideal for a quiet getaway. Within ten minutes of Mount Desert Island,
located in Trenton you have quick access to Acadia National Park and
Bar Harbor while experiencing Maine's finest qualities in your own
private setting.

Pristine views of sunsets on Blue Hill can be enjoyed from the deck's
Adirondack chairs or your own beach front. The comfortable cottage is
adequately furnished and includes hardwood floors, cathedral
ceilings, bedroom fireplace, full bathroom and complete kitchen. The
open kitchen and living area is accompanied by the master bedroom
with a regular size bed and a loft with twin beds. This is ideal for
a couple or small family with a bias toward a quieter vacation with
easy access to the attractions of Mount Desert Island.

The cottage has a very spacious open layout with a pine cathedral
ceiling that goes up 18 feet throughout. The beautiful hardwood
floors offer a classy touch as does the black leather furniture
accented with antique mirrors and end table. This is an ideal room to
have fabulous dinners while sitting at a gorgeous antique dining set.
The room also has a piano which works fine but may be a bit out of
tune to the experienced ear. The kitchen is open to the room with a
table 'island' perfectly situated for evening hors d'oeuves or to
keep an eye on the children while they draw or color. The stove has
gas burners for the personal chef in you. There is a traditional size
refrigerator and freezer to accommodate your weeks worth of
provisions. The sliding glass doors open onto the wrap around deck
for evening grilling while overlooking the most beautiful sunsets
over the water and overlooking 'Blue Hill' in the distance.

direct views to the ocean. The second floor loft will accommodate two
people on twin beds, and is best described as cozy. The master
bedroom is furnished with antique furniture as the cottage is
accented with antique mirrors and furniture.

The bathroom is a full bath that has recently been finished with tile

Park in the town of Trenton. In the heart of Downeast & Acadia this
cottage offers vacationers the privacy for solitude with the access
to Mount Desert Island for adventure, but at a great value compared
to beach front in Acadia. Every activity is available that one
associates with vacationing in Maine, but most people enjoy the
simple pleasures of spending time on the beautiful beach by day and
the wrap around deck in the later afternoon and evening. The beach is
sandy as you would wish for in Maine, but with low tide opportunity
for the children to discover craps and shells to take home at the end
of your vacation. When venturing onto Mount Desert Island the family
will be able to do every activity from hiking, to shopping with
everything in between. This location offers opportunity to make that
dream vacation in Maine, lobster and all happen.
