Crystal Lake Cottage in Crystal

The Red Cottage is a beautiful, cozy cottage located one block from the lake on a large lot shaded with huge oak trees.  The cottage is situated on a paved, dead-end street in a nice, serene setting.  Cottage guests have access to the lovely 724 acre all-sports Crystal Lake from their own private dock located on the lake, just a short walk away.  Crystal Lake has a sandy bottom and gradually deepens, making it great for swimming as well as fishing, and boating.

The cottage is fully furnished and includes all kitchen appliances, cookware, dishware, linens, sheets and towels. Amenities include an enclosed sunroom, open air wood deck, Flat-screen LCD cable tv, DVD player, fireplace in the living room, air conditioning, gas grill, and outside firepit for those evening bonfires. The cottage includes two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed (double bed bottom and single bed upper), plus a queen sofa sleeper in the living room and a trundle bed on the sun porch. 

We also have a pontoon boat and a variety of bicycles available for rent to our cottage guests.  Please inquire about rates and availability.

On-site activities include swimming, fishing, boating, and all other water sports, sunbathing, hiking, and relaxing on the deck. Nearby activities include golf (several top-quality courses within one hour or less), antiqueing, dining, movies, bowling, roller skating, shopping, and
excellent bike/walking trails.  Right here at Crystal Lake you will find an old-style inexpensive movie theatre (FSS only), a stock car dirt track that runs most Saturday nights, a roller rink, ice cream shop, pizza, family style restaurants, and a well-stocked grocery. 

Rental rate is $600.00 per week May thru October.  Rentals less than
one week will be considered during the shoulder seasons (until mid-june and after Labor Day), or within 21 days of desired rental during the prime rental season.  Daily rental rates are $100 per day Monday-Thursday and $125 per day Friday-Sunday. 

We also have a pontoon boat available for rent for $250 for the week or $60 per day.  Bikes are also available for rent for $5 per day or $25 for the week (tandem bike is $7 per day or $40 per week.
