Vacation Rental Description

Come and explore the beauty of Higgins Lake with your family and 
friends in our two bedroom Chalet home.  Located just one mile from 
Higgins Lake South Park in a quiet, relaxing area.  After a day at 
the beach, head over to Nibbles icecream (located 1/2 mile from 
beach) and then enjoy games, cards and conversations with your guests 
in our four season room.  We have books, games and toys for kids to 
play with in the upper loft area and trundle beds (twin) beds for 
them to sleep on.  
Please No Smoking (you can smoke outdoors away from the house and 
deck, but no indoor smoking)and No Pets.  We love pets too and 
throughly understand that pets are a part of your family, but they 
are not allowed at the beach so they would be left behind unattended.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Living room (decorated with the "up north" decor)
2 bedrooms (both with queen size log beds)
loft with open view to living room (two trundle beds)
2 brand new Aerobeds 
Sun room (great place to kick off your shoes and relax with your 
guests).  
The cozy kitchen has hickory cabinets, a flat top countertop stove to 
cook on (no built in oven) but we do have a convection oven with a 
broiler, a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Please enjoy cooking 
outdoors on our gas grill. 
Includes washer, dryer, all linens and towels, except for beach 
towels.  Our place is exactly like "home" (as our previous renters 
have told us).  It is extremely clean with all the comforts of home.  
We have lots of extras for your use including dish soap, laundry 
soap, garbage bags, napkins and paper towels.  
TV, VCR, DVD, radio and board games.  Come and build family memories 
and enjoy a summer vacation at Higgins Lake.  We have a beautiful 
wrap around deck to relax, eat and enjoy the scenery.  

Activities and Attractions

Higgins Lake was rated one of the most beautiful lakes in the world 
and has one mile of shoreline which is great for children of all 
ages.  This is a great location for swimming, boating (pontoon and 
power boats are available for rent on Higgins Lake), canoeing, 
scubadiving, fishing, golfing, jet skiing, mountain biking, 
snowmobiling, sledding and skiing. This is a great location for 
Geocaching (grab your GPS and go together with friends looking for 
the geocach; a fun activity for your family and friends to enjoy 
together.)

Vacation Rental Rates

Winter (December - March)
$650 per week
$109 per night (two night minimum)
Fall/Spring (Sept.-Nov.)(April-June)
$650 per week 
$109 per night (two night minimum)
Summer (July - August)
$850 per week
Summer 2009 Special - We will take $75 off the weekly rate of $850 if you book your week's vacation 
before December 31, 2008.  Come to our cottage and build memories with your family. Higgins Lake is 
a beautiful area and so is our cottage. Enjoy the gift of a vacation with your family and friends.   
A $59.00 cleaning fee and 6% State of Michigan sales tax is in addition to the rates. 
For all of our previous renters we would like to say a very special thank-you for all the wonderful 
comments we have received in our guest book (located at the cottage).  We are so greatful to have 
such fantastic renters who are building family memories at higgins lake. 
A $250 security deposit is due within 10 days from a rental agreement request.  The entire amount to 
be paid 30 days prior to occupancy.
