This 3-bedroom house, "Sunset Shores", sleeps 2-10, and is nestled on
3 very private acres, with a large fenced grassy backyard on a gentle
slope surrounded by mature trees. Your 200+ feet of *PRIME*
waterfront includes a sand beach, 2-person sea kayak, a large dock,
and plenty of sunshine all day until you get the most gorgeous sunset
on the whole lake. Then hit the hammock for some serious star gazing
because you can see them all out here!
The 1000-square foot deck includes a sunken 5-person hottub with lake
view, plus outdoor music speakers and a gas grill. Or, if you prefer
charcoal grilling, cook dozens of burgers at once on the brick pit
barbeque by the lake.
Inside this cozy all-brick beauty, you'll find an open floor plan
with high cathedral ceilings, condusive to relaxation and family
gathering. The great room includes a stone hearth with a 1-touch-
operated gas fireplace, perfect for warming up after a dip on a cool
night, or having a cocktail before dinner. You'll also find three
spacious bedrooms all with comfortable queen beds. The master bedroom
has its own entertainment system, and boasts a private bath with his
and her's sinks, a luxury soaking tub and a separate shower. The
spacious "kids" room has a full/twin combo bunk bed in addition to
the queen bed. The house is baby-friendly and includes a baby swing,
booster seat, instant high-chair, and children's books and toys. For
the adults you'll enjoy the regulation foosball (table-soccer) table,
the 5-speaker home theater or picking a novel from the reading library.
Your gourmet kitchen includes an island and all the standard
appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils you'll want to whip up a
family feast. The dining room seats 8-10, with a bay window looking
out to the lake. Or, take the family out to eat at one of the
acclaimed local restaurants such as Tavern on the Rail.

Virginia's best kept secret, only 90 minutes from DC, and less than
an hour from Charlottesville and Richmond. The crystal-clear lake
offers swimming, endless water-skiing, world-class fishing, an annual
triathlon, and daily pristine sunsets. Nearby attractions include
vineyards, antique shopping, golf, historic sites, and hiking in
nearby Lake Anna state park. Or just go for a lazy country drive and
enjoy the countryside without DC's stop-and-go traffic! To get the
most out of the lake, you can bring your own boat or rent one (ski
boat, waverunner, fishing, or pontoon boat) from any of several
nearby marinas. Launch for $5 from Lake Anna Marina around the bend.

The prices below are all-inclusive. They include base rent, cleaning & processing fees, state & local
occupancy taxes, and damage insurance (in lieu of a security deposit). There are NO hidden costs or
charges; what you see below is ALL you will pay. Most rentals are not nearly as upfront so be sure
you ascertain their hidden costs before comparing prices!
7 Nights (Sunday-to-Sunday): $1150 (off-season), $1810 (mid-season), $2470 (high season)
2 Nights (Friday-to-Sunday): $600 (off-season), $710 (mid season); ask for free late checkout!
