Fully remodeled house in the scenic Northfork Valley (Wapiti) between
Cody (18 mi) & the East entrance to Yellowstone Nat'l Park (30 mi).

The home has 2 bedrooms downstairs, both with queen size beds and bunk beds upstairs.  Upstairs, there is a kitchen/living/dining area, with french doors and an outdoor deck.  Enjoy the spectacular views of the Absaroka Mountains and the Shoshone River.  There is fishing access on the property, only a short walk away.

There is a gas station/convenience store approx. 2 miles away.

The North Fork Getaway is a perfect location for fishing the North and South Fork of the Shoshone River. It is also close to Cody and YSNP. The cabin is larger then it looks in the photos. Fully equiped with everything you need for your stay. Cell phone service does not exist so take a phone card for your long distance calls. Secluded with scenic views. Great for star gazing. The road into the cabin is a little bumpy. A small price to pay. If you want paved roads and the hustle and bustle of a resort town there is a Holiday Inn in Cody. If you want a getaway close to some of Wyomings best fly fishing this is the place

we were extremely impressed with this property. The house is very spacious, with high ceiling, lots of hardwood everywhere, it is impeccably decorated in style featuring wild animals; it has the head of deers in the living room and feels like your own private mountain lodge. The description on the net was very accurate, it was easy to find the house and locate the keys even if we arrived late at night. The house was perfectly clean and the kitchen was already stocked with necessities such as salt sugar coffee spices etc. The night sky from the deck gave us a full view of the Milky way, which we had never seen before. The east entrance of the park and the city of Cody are both 30 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this house!

Northfork Getaway

The Northfork Getaway is a lovely place to stay. It is so quiet & secluded feeling (even though you can see a couple of houses). Once you get use to the long bumpy road that leds up to the house, you'll be glad you chose to stay at Northfork. It is the perfect location to go to Yellowstone one day and then go into the town of Cody the next. We will definately stay at this property again when we make another visit to the area! If the inter-net access had been better for us, we would have rated this property a "5". That was the only thing we wish we had when we were there. It is a great place to stay.
