Sandpiper's Nest is a charming, beautifully decorated and appointed home on a high dune in the quiet oceanfront area of South Ponte Vedra Beach. It is absolutely direct oceanfront! Located between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Sandpiper's Nest is in a very private area of single family homes (no high rises or high traffic here!) but is just 5 miles from historic downtown St. Augustine, and 15 miles to posh Ponte Vedra Beach.

Decorated in the Key West cottage style, Sandpiper's Nest offers a calm and serene oceanfront respite from our busy world. The ocean colors, vaulted wood ceilings, top quality furnishings, and many amenities make vacationing here a pure joy. The house is SPOTLESS too so feel free to let your babies crawl around!

The living-dining-kitchen area is spacious and open to the deck, beach and ocean beyond. The large
sitting area has views of the ocean, a fireplace for our winter guests, new 48" flat screen TV, DVD player, Bose radio and CD player, and movies, books, games and puzzles.

The pine dining table easily seats 6, and two comfy bar chairs at the end of the long kitchen counter
offer additional dining space. What is better than a candle light dinner while listening to the
sounds of the ocean.... or a casual lunch while looking out at the dolphins playing in the sea?

The galley kitchen is lovely, with granite counters, side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice on
the door, glass top electric range, oven, microwave, toaster and toaster oven, dishwasher, and
all the other conveniences that make cooking a pleasure. The kitchen is situated in the heart of the
living area, with no walls to obscure the views of the living and dining areas and the wonderful
deck, beach, and ocean beyond.

The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat. Located on the ocean side of the house, it offers a king
size bed with excellent mattress,down pillows, and top quality linens. Additionally, the room
contains lovely daybed, suitable for sleeping or lounging, a desk with Dell computer, 17" flat screen
monitor, high speed DSL Internet connection, and a printer. We also have a wireless connection so you can use your own laptop throughout the house. The room also contains a television with VCR and DVD. A private bath with a large soaking tub isadjacent to the bedroom. The master suite opens onto the oceanfront deck. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean is a delight!

The "junior master" is on the front of the house. It offers a queen sized bed, television armoire
with VCR, vaulted wood ceilings, and a private bath. As with the master, the bed linens, pillows, and
mattress are of the highest quality.

The bunk room was designed for children, although the regular twin mattresses insure comfortable
sleeping for adults as well. Thanks to a trundle underneath the bunk bed, the room sleeps three
comfortably. The bunk room contains a television/DVD player and several children's tapes and games. A full bath is located in the hall just outside the bunk room.

The deck is a destination in itself. Running the length of the house, the deck is bumped out in the
middle, offering a 16 X 20 area for play and relaxing. Furnished with a round umbrella topped dining
table and many comfortable chairs and loungers, the deck is a delightful spot to read, snooze, or
dine. The deck railings have slats located close together and a lockable gate so that small children
are always safe!

At the end of the short dune walkover is a very special built-in bench,which everyone loves for early
morning coffee or late night moon watching! From there, it is a 20 step descent to the beach and the wonderful Atlantic ocean! The beach itself is very private; other than the turtle patrol, you will
not see vehicles, and the wide beach is perfect for walking, shelling, or playing in the surf.

At the house, our guests love to swim in the ocean, play in tide
pools, walk on the beach, search for shells and sharks teeth, enjoy
the dolphins, pelicans, gulls, and sandpipers; snooze or read on the
beach or deck; have quiet time in the beautiful home with its many
amenities.

For those guests who choose to join the Serenata Beach Club, there
are three huge pools, structured children's activities, a great
dining room, outdoor sandwich bar, work out room with massage
available, ocean front bar and grill, and rentals of kayacks and
other water toys. Tenant members now have golf privileges at the Marsh Landing Country Club golf course.

St. Augustine is a delightful destination, with many attractions,
walking streets, boutiques, great restaurants, carriage rides, a
super outlet mall, river and Intracoastal cruises, parasailing, deep
sea fishing, exploring the Guana River park, and much more.

Golf abounds, both in the St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra areas. The
new World Golf Village is just 15 minutes away and dozens of other
public and semi public courses are within minutes in several
directions! A trip or two to Ponte Vedra is perfect for golf, great
dining, and shopping.

Easy day trips can be made to Daytona and Marineland (about 1 hour);
Disney World and other Orlando theme parks (about 2 hours); the
Kennedy Space Center (about 2 1/2 hours) and to various parks and
springs throughout northern and central Florida. Many of our guests
recommend the Jacksonville zoo (about 1 hour), renting boats to
cruise and fish in the Intracoastal Waterway, biking in the Guana
Park, and of course, golf golf golf.

In spite of the numerous activities and attractions in the area, our
guests at Sandpiper's Nest invariably report that they always
welcome days and nights spent totally at the house and on the beach!

Renters have two options regarding cleaning fees: pay $200 cleaning fee and do NO cleaning, OR save $50 by doing some basic tidying chores (wash one load of laundry, put dishes in the dishwasher, empty refrigerator of all opened food, put furniture back where you found it.

Babies up to 2 years in crib FREE.... and we supply the crib.
