enough to local shopping and attractions. Easy drive to the famous
fish restaraunts of Norwood's and JB's.

New Smyrna Beach is a small tourist town south of Daytona Beach
adjacent an inlet named after Ponce de Leon, who visited here in the
days of Columbus. The community offers lots of opportunities for
water lovers, including boating and fishing in both the intercoastal
canal (called a river) as well as in the off-shore deeps. Not far
away, casino boats depart regularly for a few hours of gaming off the
coastal boundary, but usually with sight of the Ponce Inlet
lighthouse, another favorite local tourist attraction.
