The Boathouse sits 75' back from the tidal shore of the New Meadows
River, an inlet of Casco Bay and
surrounded by trees on 3 sides, private. You'll enjoy magnificent 180
degree classic Maine views of
lobster boats & buoys, osprey, waterfowl and an occasional eagle.
Cottage faces west & the sunsets
are truly breathtaking. Enjoy shell hunting on the shore or rent a
kayak up the river. Catch
mackerel and striped bass off the dock or go out on a local charter
for bigger catches. Fresh cut
flowers welcome visitors to a lovely vacation.

The Boathouse is cozy, fully furnished, sleeps 2 with queen size bed
in small separate bedroom, plus
full size pull out couch, fully appointed kitchen and a bathroom with
shower, includes all linens
and towels. Deck gets late morning and afternoon sun, perfect spot to
watch the sun go down.
Deepwater dock available for use. Well behaved dogs welcome (must get
along w/ owner's dogs on
adjacent property). Phone, but no tv or internet-on purpose--give your
senses a retreat.
(Blackberrys and Aircards do get reception.)

Conveniently located about 2 hrs north of Boston, 45 minutes from
Portland, 20 from Freeport (famous
for LL Bean and factory store shopping), 10 from Bath or Brunswick.
Enjoy Portland's Old Port,
antique hunting in the historic shipbuilding city of Bath & its
Maritime Museum or Brunswick's music
theater, Bowdoin College with its museums. An Audubon Sanctuary is
only � mile up road with trails
through pristine woods along the shore. Reid State Park and Popham
Beach only 30 mins away. Fishing
can be done right off the dock or one can charter a boat. Lots of good
restaurants, from fish &
chips to 5 star dining.
