Vacation Rental Description

This deluxe ground floor villa (apprx 1500 sq.ft.) with patio is part of the spectacular Grand 
Marina Villas of the Paradise Village Hotel, in Nuevo Vallarta. The building is free-standing 
with only 3 floors and no common bearing walls. Our ground floor unit allows you to walk directly out 
the patio door to the gardens and pool areas, with a walkway along the boat slips.  

The unit's view faces the pool and marina with lovely gardens in between, with the boat 
masts beyond. This wonderful view can be seen from all the rooms. This unit is tastefully furnished 
with hand-carved furniture throughout. There are two full bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen 
with a snack bar and laundry room with washer and dryer.  

The kitchen is large and equipped with a full size stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, 
coffee maker, toaster, and telephones.  Telephone use is through the hotel switchboard.  
Charges for outside calls will be paid upon checking out. The unit has air conditioning, 
overhead fans, two cable TVs, and 2 combination DVD/Video players.  A number of videos 
and DVDs are also included for your use.  

The entire complex is a secure gated community which has 24 hour Security service and 
also has medical doctors in an on-site clinic on duty 24 hours a day, every day.  There are 
no tall high rise buildings in this complex which makes the area more of a community.   
The area is peaceful and quiet without the noise and distractions of high rise living.  You 
will find the peace and quiet refreshing.  Also included at the private pool area is a large 
palapa with an outdoor grill, perfect for parties. 

Many fine restaurants are in the immediate area. Golf and shopping are minutes away. 
When guests purchase a temporary (good for the length of your stay, up to one month) 
assignment of a Temporary Social Club Membership they have use of Paradise Village 
Hotel’s restaurants, and spa. 

This membership includes the new Beach Club with its large expanse of beach area, and 
many shade palapas, pool, restaurant and bar. Paradise Village Guest Social Membership's 
amenities also include: “ElTigre Golf Course”, and fantastic “Spa Hacienda”.  At the 
Hacienda Spa we have a fully equipped, state of the art gym, and a full menu of spa 
services.  At the world class 18 hole El Tigre Golf Course there is a fine Golf Pro Shop, 
restaurant and bar.  

There is a beautiful child care center with it's own fantastic children's pool and activity 
room.  Also available are tennis courts, racket ball, bocce ball, etc.

Membership entitles you to the use of all their Club facilities. The one fee is for the length 
of your stay and is paid directly to the Paradise Village Beach Club. 

The hotel is a 5 to 7 minute walk from our unit, or you can call for a golf cart ride to/from 
the hotel.  A walk to the Beach Club is about a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction.  
There is a free shuttle to/from the Beach Club and to the Golf Club, every half hour.

If you prefer to cook at home, the unit's kitchen is large and is completely equipped with a 
full size stove, oven, and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and a blender for 
great Margaritas.  

Nuevo Vallarta is approximately 15 minutes north of the Puerto Villarta International 
Airport.  Have your taxi driver take you from the airport to the Paradise Village Hotel where 
you will check-in.  Then you will have the bellmen take you and your luggage in a golf cart 
to the unit at the Grand Marina Villas' private complex.
 

Vacation Rental Amenities

This unit is very conveniently located near the Paradise Village Shopping center, just a few 
steps outside the gate of the marina complex.  The shopping center includes a full super market (not a 
poppa-momma store), bank, a 24 hour doctor's office, internet cafes, charming botiques, along with 
several types of restaurants.

Maid service is supplied before and after your stay, along with one mid-week service for a 
full week or more reservations.  Additional Maid service is available for any days of extra 
service you request for a small fee.

Activities and Attractions

Boating, golfing and swimming are the primary activities. All the activities available are 
listed elsewhere.  Or, you may decide you would just like to enjoy your peaceful private 
pool area a few steps from your unit at the marina, away from the noise and the crowds.  

There are always many interesting fun tours available in and around the Nuevo Vallarta 
and Puerto Vallarta area.  They are too numerous to list.  The hotel has a tour desk and 
there is also a kiosk in the Mall where they can give you further information on the tours.  
Usually there is a special bus that comes to the hotels to pick up tourists for each tour.   

If you are interested in going to downtown Puerto Vallarta there are buses leaving at the 
main entrance of the shopping center next door about every ten minutes.  Total cost with 
change of bus is about $1.70 USD -- 12 pesos for the first bus, which takes you to 
WalMart or Sam's Club, which is where you can catch the next bus that goes directly 
downtown.  It costs 5 pesos ($.50) for the Centro bus.  Buses come by regularly and the 
wait between buses is usually only a few miinutes.  The trip takes about 35 to 45 minutes, 
depending upon the traffic and time of day.  Taxis are a bit faster and cost about $17 to 
downtown.  Taxis' prices are regulated and you can check with the hotel as to what each 
ride should cost.  (All of the prices listed here are subject to the exchange rate.)

There is also a Water Taxi in high season to take you to downtown PuertoVallarta. You can 
catch it right next door to the shopping center. The trip to downtown takes about one-half 
hour. It's a fun ride and it gives you a chance to see the spread of Banderas Bay. There are 
a variety of fares depending on round trip or one-way, and whether you want to go to 
downtown or to the Vallarta Marina.  The boat leaves the Paradise Village marina 
approximately every half hour.  Check with the attendent as to the stop you want and the 
fare being charged.
